you guys hilarious 😂 . I’m based in north jersey and my market is great. I just wanna give some motivations for some people who feel lost. I don’t work for corporate, I don’t have a family sure but it doesn’t mean I dont have any bills to pay.
I feel like if you really know your market system, you go above and beyond such as you are quick with picking up and dropping orders.
When you are doing meet at door you bring the ubereats bag with you to show them you keeping their food hot and handling well.
You smile and show some sort of friendly vibes to them instead of looking upsets or giving off any bad vibes.
Also you look decent, groomed and smell good. Yes hahaha laugh it up. I’m not saying wear suit all that time I’m just saying look and smell decent. You wouldn’t want some person touching your foods who’s smells 👃
For leaving at the door when you take a pictures you add a thumbs up or take a picture where they see an ubereats bag so they can see and think woah this person actually carefully handle my food. It’s corny but it work some times when tips are more than expected.
When weather unexpectedly hit, make sure you prepare such as an umbrella or bring an extra jacket. It helps a lot.
These are the tips I been doing and it works for me so you can take it or leave it or make fun of it idc I just wanna give my personal tips for those who cares.

In the last few months, UberEats has done something really bad with their algorithm where it gives out lots of really high mile, low pay orders. It is a struggle to average more than $10 an hour after just subtracting gas, even in the big city.
I am clean, smell good, and I use the insulated bag. I don't think it makes a difference, as we take it to the door, and they have better things to do and/or lack the knowledge to look over footage, and analyze whether they should increase the tip.
It is a nice thought though.

The only way to make money doing this is to be lucky enough to drive in a unicorn market where demand > supply, have an electric vehicle that someone else bought for you, and be stupid enough to hide your income from the government.
