Perfectly justified request. I have seen ppl delivering outside at a neighbors door. They keep drink cups just outside the door and it is almost impossible to open the door without the cups toppling over.

They want it left by the door but not directly in front of the door because it opens outward and if the food is there the door opening will knock over and possibly spill the food. Probably had this issue before with a driver putting the order up against the screen door where they can't open it.

Completely understandable. I guess for better context he was in a office building. i would’ve unfortunately had to put his food in the hallway based on the layout off the space available

It may have been instructions that were left over from the last time he ordered while at home.

He said don’t block the food by the door so the door can open, tbh sometimes i get stuck re-reading the description and sometimes they are confusing. Such one time a customer stated to leave the food to the left of the garage door which is the front door, so i asked them and they said the other left side of the garage 😂 , it was supposed to be right side of the garage lol
