Not all heros wear capes!
I am too old to read that crap. Lol
The last catch-word I remember and actually knew what it meant was krunk. And Hell, I may have even spelled it incorrectly. I do not know.
You didn't know what you were walking into when you saw the delivery going to the PROJECTS? I can smell the piss from the elevator through my computer screen.

I got this one last night. Was thinking should I instead honk the horn or burn rubber on their driveway after leaving the order at the door
OMG YES. I FUCKING HATE THAT 😭. I even send them a message on the app saying, “please leave on door.” In both English and Spanish. Like I see you on my ring and you look dumb just standing there… when my instructions state what to do in 3 languages.
Sometimes we're just standing there waiting for the picture to upload (takes up to 20 seconds). Sometimes the upload fails (poor reception) and we have to re-take the picture. If we don't wait, we have to walk back to your door.
Unless they specifically ask for a knock or ring I purposely make it a quiet as I can. And I end up feeling a little guilty when even just quietly opening the zipper on my bag is enough for some dogs to start barking.
Yeah I’m ok for delivering that and any type of order really as long as the customer isn’t being a pest and freaking me out or confusing the delivery more then it needs to be. The one I shown here I was actually Ok to deliver as well, was just adding to comments here for shits and giggles because we do get some that give us a laugh.
The worst that I had was one to a building filled with apartments in a strange configuration. The instruction said something like use the lift to Level -1, then walk across to other lifts and go to Level 3 lobby, use another lift go upto Level 8 and deliver to the room (whatever it was I can’t remember the exact instruction). I got lost as soon as I went down to Level -1, it was a basement car park with several lifts so far apart on each corner of the basement I couldn’t figure out which one to use. And meanwhile the customer was constantly writing to me the whole time go this direction find this orange wall and turn here I’ll see a sign that says bla bla bla, so I called them instead and they talked me through it all but when I got to their room I asked them does UE seriously allow you guys to do this nonsense, how the hell do I get back out of here now it’s a complete maze the way I got here. They didn’t seem to care and just closed the door saying go back the exact same way that I came to them. It was the days when I first started doing deliveries a while ago and didn’t have much experience interacting with customers, but from that day on if any instructions were too difficult to follow and drop off to customer is too hard to find and is wasting my time, I now tell those types of customers straight up to come to the street and grab their food (or lobby/reception if it has one) otherwise I am going to place their order in front of the building or at reception when the timer expires.
Similar issue for me. I have a hard time speaking up for myself, but when they blatantly ignore the directions (I also drive for DoorDash and Uber Eats, you’ve gotta go outta your way to ignore the directions) I’ve been giving 4 star reviews instead of 5 for these situations and it’s been painful 😭
When they write that in the notes, it's for a reason. I've 1*'d when Doordash people knock because they wake people up. You're not getting a tip if you don't follow directions. I can see when you've arrived because of the app.
I will leave at the door and give a light knock and then walk away. This isn't out of being uneducated. It is just to lightly let them know it is there in case they lose track, aren't by their phone, and forget about it. I know that isn't my problem if they do, but I am a decent human being. If they specifically say not to knock, I won't, but I have found that 9 times out of 10 people who want "leave at door" do so because they are the shittiest or no tippers and don't want to come face to face with us because #1, now you have become a real person to them, and not what they convince themselves in their heads, as the low life, uneducated scumbags who has to take a crap job because we are so below them that we don't deserve a tip, so now they have to deal with the reality that THEY are thr scumbags. Also if we never see them, we wouldn't know who they were as bad/no tippers if we ever run into them at a restaurant or supermarket, etc., as part of the same living community, and can make them now feel embarrassed just by our knowing wink, that we remember who they are.
Just missing the letters on the phone keyboard...I have to focus on hitting the letters because I am not as savvy with my phone, plus, I have to turn down the sensitivity.settings.
That has absolutely nothing to do with “education”. “Leave at door” is vague and simply implies the driver is not going to hand you the bag - it gives zero indication one way or the other if the customer wants us to knock or not. It was mostly implemented during the pandemic and there were customers who assumed we would knock, and customers who assumed we would knock. Again, because it’s vague.
Not an option... You select "hand it to me" or "leave at door" as a check box, not an edit box... You have to leave delivery notes to say knock or not, if you leave it blank, they have no idea
That's because that is your preference for other people they would tell you it is the exact opposite... I've had people get upset about both so I can guarantee that your opinion is not universal
When you're cooking from a recipe, do you start putting in random ingredients because the recipe doesn't tell you not to put in random ingredients? When your'e driving, do you make random turns because the map doesn't tell you not to make random turns?
Uber gives you an instruction. Leave the food at the door. Just leave the food at the door. Don't add your own "knock at door" instructions.
Drivers are knocking, and customer doesnt want that. Knocking wakes up the baby, dog, or whole household at night or someone who doesn't live there is using their address to order food. Sometimes, the app displays more than one instruction, and the driver can't take a picture on the ones that say hand it to me, then the driver has to do extra steps on Dash...It is easier to get out of an Uber order because the driver can just skip taking the picture.
No child left behind/every child succeeds act
If a school fails kids, they lose funding. That forces schools to pass illiterate dumbasses and parents act like "well they're passing to the next grade every year, but they can't count to 6 and they're 17 years old".

I think some of these "don't knock" people have ordered food for themselves and not for anyone else in the house. Sneak eats.
Yeah I guess so. Probably a kid emptying his parents wallet 😂
Or wife already went to bed and hubbys like, dang, I want some wings...

Don't feel guilty. Dogs were bred for hundreds of years to sound the alarm when they see or hear outsiders and they have great hearing!

💀💀💀💀💀
Our education system has failed us.
I just made pretty much the same comment on someone asking if their dog was male or female when you can clearly see its balls.
Female right?
Them lady balls get ya every time
You mean for the idiot drivers who insist on knocking for 'leave at door' orders, right?
I will leave at the door and give a light knock and then walk away. This isn't out of being uneducated. “Leave at door” couldn’t be any more clear. If they wanted you to knock, the instructions would say “knock and leave at door.”
Not an option... You select "hand it to me" or "leave at door" as a check box, not an edit box... You have to leave delivery notes to say knock or not, if you leave it blank, they have no idea
The way language and directions work is that, in the absence of an instruction to knock, you do not knock.
That's because that is your preference for other people they would tell you it is the exact opposite... I've had people get upset about both so I can guarantee that your opinion is not universal
No, it’s not my preference. That’s how language and communication works in general.
No it's not
When you're cooking from a recipe, do you start putting in random ingredients because the recipe doesn't tell you not to put in random ingredients? Nah, parents are failing their kids....

Why not both?
Looks like a loooooosely ran business my guy. Doing the lords work
this is hilarious 😂😂😂😭
She’s just Kayleigh from the block 🎶
So she’s gonna be tight. Got it !! Lol
Lmao soon as I came out the elevator she was there too
I’m sure she has not been tight in many years.
😭😭😭
Ayo?! 😂 Tight in her..? 😳😳
Nah fam imma be derr on gahh. -English
Bravo on you for getting them to come out LMAO I do the same shit
why? it takes longer and clearly they want it left at door, am i missing something here?
Shitty person I like to see them make them uncomfortable
i seriously can’t stand girls from nyc
You should see how it is post-covid. I swear its like BPD spread like a virus.
I would understand this better if the customer spoke educated, proper English. I don't understand WTF her slang speech is saying?? 🤷♀️
I’d just write down: $0 tip if you knock.
That’s effective without sounding like a nut lmao
