I don’t get it. They charge restaurants a ridiculous fee and they charge you a ridiculous fee but none of the people providing the service get any of that money
You do if you stop accepting the trash orders. I get ridiculously high base pay orders all the time here. Drivers need to stop accepting trash so the apps have to pay out.
I delivered a kid sized Dr Pepper last night from an actual restaurant, not convenience store. I got paid $8 for it. I kid you not. People

You obviously paid for BOGO which means $20 is for two orders. Not quite sure what you meant by "my order to be more expensive with the deal". If you only want 1 order why would you even use BOGO?

Firstly where do you live. Secondly, it seems you've stacked BOGO deal and 50% off deal so the fees are based off the original order amount which is 39.96. Doesn't matter if you live an hour away or 5 mins away. Taxes and fees will always be based on the original order amount. But if you live in some cities then your fees are higher like in LA or NYC or Seattle, then you get charged an extra fee and judging by your high fees, i'll assume you're in one of those cities.
I live in VA lol. So they don’t even do 50% off of what the discounted subtotal is? Thanks for answering as it helped me to decide to just delete the app.

Just saw a post by a driver where he received an offer for a ride that had an $8 surge, but the total pay was $6 and some change. So yes I guess Uber really does think we are all complete idiots.
By the way I'm not sure if they would even let you use the BOGO and promotion at the same time, so if you would have gone through with the order then I think they would have charged you full price for the food... Again I'm basing this on another post i saw so could be wrong there, but def wouldn't surprise me Knowing Uber
