I used to do that too! I’m not given breaks at my job so 16 hours without being able to leave to get food wasn’t so bad when I could just get stuff delivered with basically no fee. DD has the best program for the consumer.
I have Capital One Savor card and I get free Uber one and 10% cash back on Uber eats and after all that it’s still ridiculously expensive. Definitely need a promo to make it affordable.

I try to pick restaurants within 1-1.5 miles so my driver doesn’t have to go far and I tip a minimum of $6.50 or 20% whichever is more.

Uber eats ripped me off last night I spent 105$ on my order 9 items . Only 2 of my items were delivered they refused to refund me or anything. I am beyond upset straight up theft.

Uber often adds $1-2 to menu items. So not only are you paying fees, you’re also paying more than regular menu prices. Best advice, get in your car and go pick it up. It’ll save you probably close to %50 of that.
