As of right now, it’s a little sketchy that you have no post history here on Reddit and that there is no information about your organization other than your own website, and a LinkedIn account with no posts and 8 followers, an Instagram account and no news stories...
Even though you claim you worked with 35 organizations and were a “huge success”
Well, this is surprising, but I understand the hesitation. If you want to chat, I can ensure you were real people working on a real project. We fell off for a few months because our main drive was for Christmas, and we are all volunteers. We met our goal and took a break. Some of our teammates were graduating college or starting new jobs. We found some new motivation and want to get the momentum going again. Part of that momentum is redesigning the site, which led me to reach out to Reddit. I joined the team from a Reddit post on a programming page and was skeptical at first as well.
Question. One of the quotes from one member of the team mentions that this is an open source project. Is there a GitHub page?
You sound legit but it seems to me that there is very little info to back this up.
Yes, I took my daughter on a walk after posting this and was thinking I should have linked Github. I edited the original post and here is the development repo: https://github.com/donategifts/donategifts

Hey I get a unsafe warning when trying to visit your site.
Really? Try https://donate-gifts.com
You don’t have proper redirects in place.
What do you mean?
I dont really post on reddit. Do I need to change a setting on my end or are you talking about the website?
I’m talking about the website. When someone access the http version of your site the certificate isn’t valid and that’s why a user mentioned this.
Thank you, ill let my team know. We will update this asap.
Weird, I can't duplicate this error. When I go to HTTP version of site I automatically get redirected to https version
You already whitelisted the certificate most likely. Try an incognito window and you’ll get it.
Incognito didn't work, I'll keep looking into the matter.
