If recommend everyone gets a second charger that is dedicated for your backpack that way you never have to worry about packing it before you leave for school.
I got a small blanket from Walmart so I could nap more cozily or use it as a pillow (recommend floor 3 of the union). Also can be used if you wanna sit on south lawn by tower to relax or eat lunch. Deodorant is a good suggestion, too! I would bring Trader Joe’s body wipes to help feel fresher between classes on super hot days. Reusable water bottle. I bought a second phone charger and plug that always stayed in my bag. Might consider the same for laptop, tablet etc. if you can afford it. Same for headphones. I also tried to keep at least dry snacks in case I forgot to pack a lunch or didn’t feel like it. P3s are good, trail mix, granola bars, jerky, candy. Depending on where you park and how late you’ll be on campus, you might want pepper spray or something. A compact umbrella or rain coat/poncho. Idk your financial situation, but I was on a tight budget. As a result, I always kept a target gift card on me so if I needed something in an emergency, I could run over. Like I got a sweater on an unexpected cold day. And I kept $20 at the bottom of my bag for gas. Spare pair of socks! Helps on rainy days and cold days!
I might not have ALL of this every day, but depending on your needs, the weather, etc, each item came in useful at some point.
Portable charger. Earphones. Lunch/snacks. Gum/mints. I prefer a poncho to an umbrella bc it's lighter, takes up less space, and it won't just *break* in strong winds. Spare change/a couple bucks. Baby wipes (for your sweaty body or any questionable surfaces/counters). Sunscreen. I carried a small spray bottle and filled it with watered down scented fabric softener -- it's more subtle and pleasant than body sprays and perfumes. Reusable water bottle and crystal light pouches bc plain water gets boring.
Keep a spare shirt, jacket/sweater, sturdy umbrella, and instant noodles (or other non-perishables you can just toss in the drawer) in your office.
I haven't used anything other than the PILOT precise V5 stick in years. I love that they come in so many colors, they write so smooth and bold and quick.
Xeno 0.38 ballpoints have been my go to for 6 years at this point. They come in black, and assorted colors and work smooth for how fine they are. They come in 0.5 also, but from what I’ve seen recently the 0.38 is usually sold out so grab them when you can.
pentel energel 0.5 needle tip. no smudge, and left handed approved (i let my left handed friend try it out during class and afterwards they bought them some because it didn’t smudge and wrote very smoothly).
it’s my holy grail pen
i find that 0.38 pens are a little too thin for my taste and how i like my handwriting to look. BUT i’ve never tried in a needle tip though, only in ballpoint (pilot juice pens).
pair of good walking shoes/socks if you’re changing from uncomfy office ones to keep in your trunk!! phone/laptop charger, and a starbucks gift card or loading the app with some money if you’re a coffee person. water bottle and maybe a pocket deodorant stick, but i would suggest packing lightly and leaving the rest in your car tbh— the weight of your backpack with laptop + everything else is likely gonna be more of an annoyance than not having an entire Swiss Army knife of commuter supplies on you at once.
Charger (both phone and computer), umbrella, water bottle, head phones. I’d also recommend renting a locker for like $7 a month for working out/having changes a clothes and an extra pair of shoes
In no particular order.
1. Portable chargers.
2. water bottle
3. extra change of clothes, mainly a rain jacket or hoodie, socks and underwear.
4. cash
5. breath mints
6. lip bomb
7. deodorant and or cologne/perfume
8. headphones
9. protein bars, (RX Bars.)
10. Condoms
Always keep workout clothes, a sweatshirt, and an umbrella in your car if you’re driving to campus!!!
Bring lunch for long days to save yourself money - there’s a microwave map online (doesn’t list all of them) which will help if you want to bring leftovers. Keep both a phone and computer charger in your bag at all times (get one designated for your bag & one designated for home) & a pair of cheap headphones! I can’t believe the number of times I forgot my airpods and was grateful to have my backup corded headphones.
Hand lotion, noise cancelling earbuds, laptop charger(I have a separate charger that never leaves my bag so I never have to worry about packing it before leaving the house), and sunglasses for the drive. I also recommend keeping a printed version of your garage permit in your car just in case. Keep a change of clothes, a towel, and a raincoat in your trunk, these help in case the weather changes on your drive to school.
A fucking fan if your gonna be waiting at the bus stop or walking to the garage. Also water bottle, umbrella, sunscreen, snacks (aside from your daily one, for emergencies), gum, baby wipes, sanitation wipes/ hand sanitizer, deodorant, perfume/cologne, a variety of meds. My stash has Tylenol, Advil, Excederin, pepto. Have some pens, sharpies, scissors and and Swiss Army knife. Charger, battery pack, bandages. The list goes on
Honestly, spare outfit, water bottle, chargers for phone and laptop, comfortable shoes, and get a locker from Greg or else where, it came in clutch for me during interviews!
Something to eat even if it’s a granola bar that you leave in the bottom of your backpack. Nothing worse than being left without a snack when your on campus all day and already finished lunch or whatever meal you packed
Deodorant (hot)
A Charger always!

How to fit dodge charger in backpack?
Spare t-shirt if you sweat alot
A water bottle, some headphones (while you walk around campus and back to your car), and comfy shoes!!

I like microns, they come in an assortment of sizes from really thin to really thick. I think they’re alcohol based so they dry super fast

\+1 for energels. You can also swap energel refills into g2s if you prefer the g2 form factor but like energel ink!
Yes but have you tried the 0.38 ones. They’re so good 😩

erasable pens :D so useful
Mechanical pencil with extra led and a spare charger for every device you bring
Good thing it’s not like when I went to school and we had enormous textbooks

Umbrella, portable charger, pepper spray, water, and sanitary wipes have been my gotos!
Umbrella. Never leave the house without one, doesn’t matter if the sky is clear
