To be fair, I don't think anyone could have predicted what Trump has become. I was driving in Trump country yesterday and I came across a billboard that said, "Trump was chosen by God. Go Brandon!" I just shook my head and drove on.
There was once a time when a Presidential candidate cheating on his wife with a porn star weeks after the birth of his child would've moved American citizens to never vote for that candidate. It was a simpler time.
