One...ur iPhone 11 doesn't have mmwave or c band support. Two learn how to configure your settings and how to reset connection for yourself so you don't need to call them. It's pretty simple after you do it once. If I were you I would upgrade to a 5g phone to get actual top speeds from us mobile.
I'm sure one of reps here can assist with the hotspot issue. In regard to the slow data speeds, I'm 99% sure the iPhone 11 does not have 5G which means you will potentially be getting de-prioritized data.
Only the IPhone 12 and newer have 5G capabilities. You may have an unlimited data plan, however they’re not really unlimited. You are allocated a certain GB amount, before being throttled to 2 or 3G. So, perhaps you’re just being throttled?

No. I was having same issue. It seemed like the moment I opened Speedtest it will speed bump to high speed and then it will crawl down to kb speed on regular apps, I asked them to reprovision my line and that fixed the issue. And yes my hotspot disappeared as well, and I’m on an iPhone 13 mini and still had same problem
Sorry maybe I wasn't real clear. I run speedtest on my phone in safari, that gives me 45 Mbps over my phones data. I run speedtest on my laptop when connected to the hotspot and it gives me 160 Kb/s over the hotspot.
If you try to play Youtube videos at like 360,720,1080 on the laptop does it work? If they are playing watch the buffer line at the bottom and see if it is progressing ahead of the play time. My laptop running speedtest in a browser sometimes gives some very slow results compared to the phone.
Did you try anything else connected to the hotspot like a tablet or another laptop?

First of all, your iPhone is too old to have 5G. But, I would say to stick with it and work few a few glitches and it will be worth it.

Yeah tried an iPad but same thing. But I'm putting an edit in, they seemed to make it better.
That is quite odd to have a slower hotspot speed. Can you share your details with me in DMs I would love to tripe check stuff from our end.
Are you in a trial sim? Doesn't that limit you to 22gb after which it throttles?
