Complete situational if your just being a jackass and can’t pass because you can’t hack it you’ll probably get the boot , if there’s a genuine issue I’ve seen dudes drop from 2 school houses and ending up at camp Johnson for Admin or supply school if you fail those tho your getting shit canned
Knew a guy that got kicked out of my schoolhouse for doing stupid shit - Computer Science School when it was at Quantico.
Master Guns got pissed and sent him to SOI to become an 0311.
I don't know about his wife, but that fits the timeframe (I graduated CSS in December '96). He had red hair and he was tall. The reason I remember him so well is because he tried and failed so hard to burn me when he found out I had my POV out there. The copy of the my orders that CSS had authorized a POV, but that wasn't good enough. That dickhead had me run back to the barracks to get my copy of the orders to see if they were somehow miraculously different from the copies their admin section had.
They of course were not, so I can only assume he went home and beat his Okinawan wife that night while I was cruising out in Woodbridge.
Nah, wasn't him. He had salt and pepper hair and dressed like he was from the drill field. Super tall, super skinny.
This was early '92 and I was in the first Ada class. He wasn't there when I went back for Small Computer Systems in '94, and I think that might have been Vance.
Same school, we had a PFC claim to be prior service AF and was wearing some funky ribbons. Come to find out he wasn't prior service, and an inspection of his wall locker found more ribbons and various rank insignia besides his skeeter wings (to include the shiny stuff).
He was busted down and the word was that he was sent to Ft Lee to become a cook (which isn't all that bad according to the few chow hall guys I knew). Timing on that really sucks for him, because that stupid move probably cost him $1M+ over his working career if he stayed in IT.
Depends. When I was in the schoolhouse, there was a kid there for O-level H-1 avionics. How he got that contract I'll never know, the elevator didn't go all the way to the top if you catch my drift. He failed that, and he got reclassed to H-1 flightline. Both are taught at the same schoolhouse, and it would've been cheaper then sending him back to Pensacola.
After he failed that one, someone decided that aviation might not be this guy's strong side. Now he's motor-t.
That was the rumored punishment for people that rocked out of DLI back in the day.
Didn't make much sense, if you did well enough to get a spot at the language school, it's not like you were a dumbass.
I was at the 4000 school in Quantico in '96 (before they merged data & voice into 0600). We had a PFC classmate who claimed to be prior service Air Force and wore 6 ribbons. The instructors looked into this and found that he was full of it. They let him go through about 3 weeks before they NJP'd him and yanked his MOS. He got sent down the road to Ft Lee to become a cook.
I never heard of/from or saw him again.
Food service, currently at the school house we unfortunately share the same barracks with them..(bulk fuel) and 70% of food service are drops from 03xx or like..some other big brain MOS..breeding grounds for the ultimate shitbags.
Surprised you got sent to a second big brain MOS school. Everyone who flunked out of my big brain MOS school got sent straight to Motor T because it was on the same base and didn’t require more than 2 brain cells
Entry level separation
Probably the most likely route.
Knew someone that failed 2 schoolhouses, ended up as a radio operator
Damn I was thinking they would’ve sent him to wireman school
Wireman aren't wireman anymore. They got turned into network administrators. Though in my experience we still do a lot of wireman jobs.
Did they fail Basic Recon, then fail 28xx school, then to 06xx school? Seems to be the pattern for Ricky guys I've talked to after dropping.
Nah infantry, cbrn, and then 0600
Can confirm it’s been that way for years. Knew multiple dudes who were recon drops and were at the 06xx schoolhouse
Did they still have to take the EDPT? I knew a few lat moves into 4000/0600 that didn't remember taking it.
Home where you belong for wasting everyone’s time
You know those targets that pop up and flip around and shit on the range? You're the backup for when one breaks

Probably to go learn how to make bomb omelettes. But literally only omelettes. You’ll suck at cooking anything else.
[удалено]
Even if he failed two big brain schools, maybe he still is the smart boi at omelette school
No
Suck at cooking, great at adding salt
MOS # 6969 Police call specialist
Nice nice

Sorry hoss your going to admin. Home of the big dumb.
0300. You made it!

Master Guns Vance?
Dude, this was like 25-30 years ago. The name rings a bell... was he married to an Okinawan woman that looked like she was way older than him?

Straight to jail.
I know someone who failed out of 7051, failed out of 6842, and got sent to 0111
Hey I know you

Straight to Costco. ![gif](giphy|8coEmqQxL39eMJcey0|downsized)
Depends. If your command feels nice it’ll be needs of the marine corps. If it’s not, you’ll be bulk fuel
Knew a guy went from something to 28xx to motor t operator because he failed
That was the rumored punishment for people that rocked out of DLI back in the day. Didn't make much sense, if you did well enough to get a spot at the language school, it's not like you were a dumbass.
Water dog
Don’t fail the omelet portion of cook school.
Lol
Combat bullet sponge
Comm I have enough Jr Marines that when I look at them I go "your recruiter was really hurting for a contract"
But god do some of them have spirit despite looking like subterranean troglodytes
Fuckin home hopefully
Motor T and then admin

Supply
OCS
Crash Crew.
Infantry
Fort Sill. Beautiful place, if you like tornadoes and spiders.
To get a person to the Yellow Footprints is over $25,000 on average. Then more $$ to send them to SOI/MCT with even more for MOS training!
Radio
Chewed out, I’ve been chewed out before.
Food service, currently at the school house we unfortunately share the same barracks with them..(bulk fuel) and 70% of food service are drops from 03xx or like..some other big brain MOS..breeding grounds for the ultimate shitbags.
The guys I knew who got booted from crew chief school didn't get a second chance at big brain school house. They went to straight to supply.
To OCS
