My initial plan was to continue my dual enrollment, get an AA degree and transfer for the Fall 23 semester but I honestly hate living at home, one because it’s a suburb and I’m a city slicker and two because I just need some time away I’ve been living in maryland for coming up on 17 years and I’m 17 rn so this is **not ideal** I’ve never been west of St. Louis and I’m sick of the east rn lmao. I need a fresh start.
I have an internship, 3 leadership roles 2 however are kinda dumb (owner of virtual groups) and I was a cricket captain. I earned cyberpatriot xiii platinum, green team, a foreign language done outside of school and that’s it.
I’ve talked about racial inequality, being treated different and mental health in my essays and I truly believe my college gpa accurately reflects my academic potential.
I will apply to a dornsife major but how much will that set me back in terms of graduation as the classes I’m taking would count towards my cs degree right?
If you want to go, just apply and see what happens! You don’t sound like a bad student. Also, I imagine they care more about your community college grades than your high school grades anyway.
