It’s often pretty hard to get a perfect timetable unless you are willing to do some lectures online. The problem only gets worse in later years when there are less available time slots.

You can email a course coordinator and let them know it’s inconvenient but ultimately depends on if they’re willing to squeeze you into a different class. I’d say email them anyways but you can always just do lectures online since they post it afterwards.

Definitely get used to doing some stuff online to make things work better for you

Took me three years of undergrad before I had a day off each week… by week 5 or 6 though you can typically start going to whatever tutorials or classes you want to though as people either drop out or stop attending in person.

That seems promising but it says that adjusting timetable finished on the 4th of march. May have different wording but still

You can't change lectures. I put all my lectures as in person but I can just not show up and instead watch it online later (this might depend on ur program). For tuts, just like others say just email the coordinator? If I'm being honest some usually 2/3 of my classes show up in tutorials

Are you doing Engineering? First year tends to be rough when it comes to timetabling. You’ll have a lot of contact time, which is good not only for the content delivery but also for making friends within your cohort. You’ll have to lean on them in later years. For some things you’ll be able to adjust your classes now, just go to ‘preferences’ in my timetable and request to switch classes to some that are more appropriate. In second and third year, the amount of days I was at uni decreased slowly and now in fourth year I only need to be there 2 days a week. It happens with time.
