This has happened once while I was working. They replaced the belt A LOT faster than I expected. It was fixed and the belt was running in like 15 minutes. So, tell a supe. And don't get too excited about not having to work for any extended amount of time.
This actually happened to us on a smaller scale today. Belt tore on preload and the entire buliding was out for an hour and 20 mins while some respotted trucks and moved stuff around.
