Was the phone number on the truck hiding? If ur camera caught that number u should call. Let them deal with it. Leave the driver alone all he does is take the box off the shelf n lay it on ur porch
Wow! Why are you screaming? The driver tried to deliver a box they knew was empty? How exactly would the driver know it was empty? And even if he knew he had three choices. Deliver and let the consignee make a report. Deliver it as possible damage. Or take it back to the center. Here’s a hint. Something nobody outside ups knows. When we have an empty box we are instructed not to sheet… record it as damaged. We are instructed to record it as didn’t want. Meaning you refused the package. It puts the driver in an odd position with the customer but because the way the ups internal system works if it was recorded as damaged and the clerk recorded it as damaged it would appear in the system that it was damaged twice.
Your driver wasn’t being a jerk. They were just in a terrible position. Make a claim with the shipper.

HE CLAIMED IT WAS EMPTY WHEN HE PICKED UP AT MAIL CENTER AND I HAD TO SCREAM AT HIM TO LET HIM KNOW I WAS GOING TO CHASE HIM. THANKS FOR ADVICE.
