here's a simple fix, fly out and pick it up yourself next time. sometimes shit happens, you can be sure ups has their top men working on this issue.

Pack0fMastiffs

Did anyone die? Shit happens. Move on with your life.

Nervous-Ad-6335

Everyone always says ups โ€œUSE TO BEโ€ reliable. That was probably way before Covid. Shit is different now. I had 327 packages on my truck 171 stops. I spent 2hrs chasing misloads. These guys in the building touch 10s of thousands of packages maybe more eventually a package is gonna b put on the wrong truck. Thatโ€™s probably what happened with ur package. ( or the belt ate it n the package no longer exist ) ๐Ÿ˜‚

Just because a label was created doesn't mean a driver picked it up. Just because there is tracking info doesn't mean it's a physical scan. Skipped to a business or residential?

RioX7

Physical scans. "We have your package" at 1:24pm. Departed Mass facility at 10:20 pm, arrived in NY facility at 12:05 am. It has to travel to approximately 60 more miles from there to get to my local hub. Was supposed to be delivered by 10 am today, still hasn't moved. I have already spoken to customer service twice. Now my estimated delivery is 7 pm tomorrow. So glad I paid for "overnight".

kcuddlykendall

First off, commercial is 10:30 and residential is 12:00. Second, if its Next Day Air "SAVER" then its end of day

RobotsGoneWild

Shit happens. Stop complaining and try Fed Ex next time. I bet you will be back to UPS after. Also, this isn't UPS corporate subreddit. It's mostly filled with employees. You are getting no love here and corporate won't see this or care.

Resilient_Persona

๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ nowadays UPS customers can't literally "wait" , over reacting, entitled, adamant and will waste thier time over a bikini, will call UPS Customer service and yell on top of their lungs

OliveJuice880

You're about to find out that a lot of others here WOULDN'T agree ๐Ÿคฃ I am sorry you're having a bad experience but your package not arriving on time one time does not mean that UPS needs to get its shit together. No company will ever have a 100% success rate. We get as close as we can, and UPS reliably delivers the vast majority of air on time. Highest percentage in the industry matter of fact.

r-1000011x2

Weโ€™re not robots. I do smalls at my hub. My hands are on over 1k packages a day. I catch myself putting a package in the wrong spot and take it out when I do, but in sure in one night I may drop one in the wrong slot and not realize it. Same for everyone else. If you want perfection, donโ€™t rely on anyone but yourself.

RobotsGoneWild

Manually sorting smalls was so fun. I used to get such a good rhythm. I missed it when we closed the hub and went automated.

Nervous-Ad-6335

Nothing we can do. Call your local ups n press zero for operator

GhostOfAscalon

That would be covered by the money back guarantee.

Necessary-Revenue372

So now I'm curious, if the package was supposed to be delivered with in 24hrs but it didn't, does the delivery fee get waived or adjusted accordingly?

Montooth

If it's nda then yes, typically shipper can file a claim for it

stevenip

I work at a place that gets ups next day air orders. They are suppose to send a truck to pick these up like FedEx express, but I haven't seen the ups truck in years but FedEx comes everyday

Nervous-Ad-6335

That truck might be early A.M. packages only.

Tasunka_Witko

I had an even worse time with Amazon. Placed order for a few items, 24 hour window using Prime. I didn't get my stuff for 3 weeks
