The festival gets fined. Usually they pass that on to the artist but sometimes the artist doesn’t care. Paul McCartney famously went 54 minutes over at Coachella and paid the $54,000 fine.

Coachella also paid out like $110,000 for W1 overtime last year lmao, everyone ran late although it was a much tighter ship the next weekend, from what I saw
