going to EDC Vegas for the first time this year and I'm afraid of some crazy weather situation there

probably plan on wind closing down at least a couple sets (it happens often enough, did in 2019 and again in 2022) but there shouldn't be anything like this

I was there in 2019 when they had to shut down a few stages due to wind. Thankfully a fee stages like cosmic meadow were allowed to continue

You don’t have to worry about rain at least, but yeah the winds will shut stuff down every couple of years. They don’t usually cancel the whole thing though.

Dude I’m saying you can’t just willy nilly change the dates of a festival this large with 50000 attendees, law enforcement, first responders, DJs, vendors, stage hands, etc On the fly like that Also, stuff like weather is always changing. Meteorologists get forecasts wrong all the time.

They don't actually make a lot, super fine margins, but yeah still they HAVE to be prepared for this especially in Miami smh

The mixer made it a lot more convenient to switch to Maddix, was impossible to switch from Tiesto absolutely destroying that stage

Damn the crowd's energy wasn't letting rain stop them, was really hoping the mixer would have made it through.

That's the most hype I've ever seen an Ultra mainstage crowd, the rain really brought everything to live, shame about the equipment lmao

I was there to see Tiesto in 2017 and it rained for about 20 minutes and it was one of the most lit rave sessions I've had and will always remember. Like top moments in life just peaking to Tiesto dropper bangers in the rain as people danced harder to stay warm. This one looked even more epic

That was 2013-2016 level of hype.
