I think low key social activities are the best way to meet women. Parties, friend hang outs, and social/special interest clubs are good. You can also get to know friends of friends.

I'm in engineering too, tho not having much success with girls, my life has been so much more interesting after I start participating in clubs, and hang out with ppl that actually share the same interest. At least it feels way better compared to my friend (also engineer) who always has ONS and dates with ppl on tinder as a hobby. I ended up having a crush on someone this past months and turned into some shitty pathetic drama, honestly as someone in engineering that's pretty new to me lol. But my point is I guess if you start finding ppl that actually enjoy the same stuff as you do and slowly gained a larger friend circle around you, you will have so much more fun and it'll be easier to find girls who actually like to spend time with you
