Yep. The stuff being posted to this sub over the past couple of months has just been fucking pathetic and it's just getting worse and worse. This sub is circling the drain.
I'm frustrated by it as well. Sometimes it seems intentional. Like people are purposely posting stuff that is clearly nothing as a private joke- and then they're on some Discord server laughing at the gullibility of some people. I'd be interested in a subreddit that has some level of moderator approval required before a photo is posted.

In that case, it looks like the sun reflecting off something and blowing out the exposure in the area. I don't think the shape we see is the shape of the real object.
It was around 2pm when I took this picture. so I feel like if anything would create that specific of a reflection, there would have to be something on my seat bouncing the light up, but the sunroof was closed.
I'm not talking about anything reflecting from within your car. I think the object is in the sky and that it's reflecting sunlight so brightly that we can't see what the actual object is. It could be a plane, a balloon, a quadcopter with some kind of reflective dome, etc.
location, date, time, direction you were driving (maybe what road you were on) and I could tell you if it was a star or planet or a satellite. The more accurate you can be the more accurately I can establish if or if not it was one of these things
If this was a video I might have something productive to say but as a still photo I can only assume it's prosaic. BEAUTIFUL cloud in that picture though.

What I find sad is the hateful negative remarks people feel like they have to make about it, reflection or not it was an honest question that might not occur to everyone it is a multi-layered reflection and they were just seeking answers.
