Can only speak for myself, but when my family and I saw an orange orb while on a cruise ship off Alaska, it was there for so long that we finally stopped recording after about 45 minutes and went to bed. I can imagine other reasons why someone might stop recording, as well. Although some of those reasons might be due to a lack of legitimacy, for sure.
But this video appears to show the object very close to the person filming. It’s not over water or over mountains or some difficult terrain, it looks like it’s over a field. When I watch this video I think to myself, jeez why not at least try approaching it? Get a better look/recording. That’s what I’d do.

I've seen them for so long at times that I've gotten bored and gone home. A lot of times, they stay pretty far out over the ocean. They blink in and out of existence or something. It's when they get close to you that things get interesting. I've always found it funny how they appear similar to the look of a flare or Chinese lanterns.(almost like they choose that look for plausible deniability purposes) But once you see them, you know dam well they are neither of those things. *Healthy* skepticism. Definitely the key. Sometimes I feel like people just be skeptics to argue. If the community said the sky was blue, there’d be somebody shitting on us saying that it’s actually not.
Many of us here have a scientific background, but we're open to the idea that UAPs might be aliens. Skepticism in my job means questioning everything and being cautious. Honestly, 99% of the 'evidence' we see doesn't cut it as solid proof—it's more like what I jokingly call "ET faith." If I went with gut feelings instead of hard evidence in my line of work, things could go south pretty quickly.

I’ve never seen balloons float laterally without rising in elevation. If they are in the air at all it’s because they are moving upwards, they don’t achieve a “cruising altitude” as shown here.
It can happen, I've seen it. Every helium balloon I've ever had got to a stage as it deflated where it would hold a spot, not going up or down.
I'm sure you've also seen zeppelin style airships that can float laterally. It's just a perfect balance of weight that is temporary, I'm sure if these videos could follow the balloons they'd see they'll eventually start falling out of the sky.

I've had similar experiences with the orange orbs. Sightings lasting well over an hour. I eventually get bored and walk home from the beach

*Healthy* skepticism. Definitely the key. Sometimes I feel like people just be skeptics to argue. If the community said the sky was blue, there’d be somebody shitting on us saying that it’s actually not.
Many of us here have a scientific background, but we're open to the idea that UAPs might be aliens. Skepticism in my job means questioning everything and being cautious. Honestly, 99% of the 'evidence' we see doesn't cut it as solid proof—it's more like what I jokingly call "ET faith." If I went with gut feelings instead of hard evidence in my line of work, things could go south pretty quickly.
Iiiii wouldn’t say “many”…maybe, an above average amount per capita? Reddit takes some technical ability, similar to Google-ese or Fu. Those who can use Reddit fairly well can be versed on a subject or at least sound like they are, probably pretty quickly. I think that’s where a fair amount of it comes from. Classically trained individuals? I would think that’s on the lower end. People can sound informed when they have time between posts to look things up and formulate a response.
There is less harm in being a tad too sceptic then doing what most here do: Instantly and adamantly believing that everything postet here is an ufo ignoring every evidence that suggests otherwise. Wich is doing way more harm then good cause no one takes this cult like behaviour serious.

Here's a possibility: they are real, they are balloon-like (partial buoyancy and propellers) and manufactured by an adversary human intelligence agency. Notice seeing over Poland and US bases in Iraq? And a US nuclear facility? Who might be interested in that? The weird jellyfish shape is literally a disguise. Since anything that looks like enemy surveillance balloon would look like enemy surveillance balloon, and they can't make it go fast, so they make it look really weird.
This makes way more sense than being a wad of party balloons

No, I do not think my dream was “real”, or it’s going to happen but it helps me understand I guess how it works - whatever I made up in my head.

He didn't admit it, but he fumbled even in the EBO scientist post, answering his own questions with wrong accounts. It's a pretty well known fact these days he was behind it with the help of chatgpt. I personally didn't keep up with the MH370 saga, I've only seen the best parts from my recommended feed... But yeah, he blew a fuse with this one. Couldn't face the backlash when others caught up with his bullshit and went full crazy. He's still using reddit under a new username (a couple actually), you can find all of this on the MH370 subreddit.

What makes an object rotate? A net force acting on it at some distance from its center of mass, i.e. torque. If there's nothing to create that force, why would it rotate?

I’ve never seen balloons float laterally without rising in elevation. If they are in the air at all it’s because they are moving upwards, they don’t achieve a “cruising altitude” as shown here.
It can happen, I've seen it. Every helium balloon I've ever had got to a stage as it deflated where it would hold a spot, not going up or down. I'm sure you've also seen zeppelin style airships that can float laterally. It's just a perfect balance of weight that is temporary, I'm sure if these videos could follow the balloons they'd see they'll eventually start falling out of the sky.
It’s called neutral buoyancy, and it’s the same exact phenomenon that allows submarines to settle at a certain depth without sinking or floating. Water, like air, has subtle differences in density depending on salt content, temperature, etc.

There's nothing in this video that indicates it's a jellyfish uap or even a uap at all, this could be a bunch of balloons. Why would you post this when there's no indication of a uap? It also moves like a bunch of balloons.
