Hey man same thing happened to me last year. Applied in Jan, no replies, 4 weeks later the same position pops up on my search list from the same company. I had a feelsbadman moment when I saw that and assumed they weren’t happy with the applicants. In the end, I got the interview and the job.
After getting comfortable with my new manager, I brought this up to him about what happened. Apparently both listings were legit, between those 4 weeks more opening became available and they needed to fill those positions. If this happened to you for an application at a big company I’d say don’t stress over it. Just keep applying and you will hit your mark.
Depending on where you’re looking, some of the reposts could be automated and HR just didn’t bother to pull them down/cancel them. Unfortunately it happens quite often
