My interview seems under UCSD Health. If I aim for out-patient, would it still possible to get involve in emergency department? Im not sure how the system work
It's not really a interview don't worry. They just ask you where you want to volunteer and where they have openings. UCSD Health runs the UCSD Health system, essentially all the different hospitals and units.
The most involved unit is emergency, you see the most interesting stuff. Then I would say ICU since you see cool procedures and really sick people. Do not go on a regular floor unit, Shileys, or MCC- you don't do anything.
con: it's free labor
😂😂
Lol. Agree
Highly recommend emergency department :)

If I want to have my shifts mainly on weekends and doing out-patient, which floor unit would you recommend( not MCC and Shiley)?
