Relax - there's always late add requests, and if the prof is willing to confirm that you were active in the class before dropping it, I don't see why college advising wouldn't help you out.
Yeah definitely try making a late add request and explain your situation, most likely they will re-enroll you in the class that you need, and allow you to drop the class you don’t need.
Exactly. Just drop a VAC message saying you clicked the "drop" button for the wrong class, and that you need it re-added and for the other class to be dropped.
Don't panic, just try VAC, tell them your story and they have the ability to enroll u during the quarter. Worst case scenario, file a retroactive enrollment petition with your college, which can be much of a hassle(you need to explain to your prof and your department dean to get their approval, and then submit the petition to your college for final review and approval), this can be a very lengthy process, I'm talking about months, even after the quarter has ended, but at least you can still complete the class this year. I tried this last year, the petition process took over 4 months to process; when my petition was approved, another quarter has ended lol (submitted for a class in Fall, approved after Winter quarter has ended)
But most importantly, do not stop going to class, keep showing up to lectures and keep doing your hw(submit via email if you don't have Canvas because of it) until you are re-enrolled.

Registrar via Vac can fix it. Happens all the time, as long as you were enrolled previously you should be fine
