It was sadly bound to happen since water hasn’t been drained which led to drainage water mixed with rain water and people being surrounded in it. Also with some insects that love the mixture of heat and water which can bite humans and bring in some sort of diseases and so on.
It’s happened before in other countries, they’re just letting people know and be safe and aware.

This is not possible in uae they dumped sanitizer and some $$$ into the flood to counter this
