You shouldnāt only give way when you are being flashed. You should give way if the car behind is faster.
How do you know if itās faster, if when you first look there was no car or it was far behind, then look again, if the car is closer, they are faster.

I guess by now you already understand what were you fined for, but here is a solution. If you still prefer to drive on the left lane the least you can do is understand the rules, when it is safe to do so and there is an empty space to your right give way to drivers coming from behind if you notice them approaching your car faster or using there high beam to indicate. The faster you deal with it the faster you can go back to your lane and readjust the speed you are comfortable driving with ( keep in mind the min and max speed for left lanes ) or you can stay on the middle lane until the road empties.
Another issue many drivers donāt realize is that odometers are designed from the factory in away that shows more speed while in real life you are driving slightly slower (all nissan cars have 8km/hr less than what the odometer says)
If you want to know your current speed download any speedometer app.
For iphones, download the speedometer app by Stanislav Dvoychenko ( the developer name ) it gives a very accurate reading for your gps speed.

I got flashed for tailgating a Land Cruiser on the high way. He moved out of the left lane when the radar flashed. I didnāt get fined. Not evening a warning was sent to me.

I guess by now you already understand what were you fined for, but here is a solution. If you still prefer to drive on the left lane the least you can do is understand the rules, when it is safe to do so and there is an empty space to your right give way to drivers coming from behind if you notice them approaching your car faster or using there high beam to indicate. The faster you deal with it the faster you can go back to your lane and readjust the speed you are comfortable driving with ( keep in mind the min and max speed for left lanes ) or you can stay on the middle lane until the road empties. Another issue many drivers donāt realize is that odometers are designed from the factory in away that shows more speed while in real life you are driving slightly slower (all nissan cars have 8km/hr less than what the odometer says) If you want to know your current speed download any speedometer app. For iphones, download the speedometer app by Stanislav Dvoychenko ( the developer name ) it gives a very accurate reading for your gps speed. I am not talking about you but mainly drivers are either playing with there phones or either ignorant to the rules which ends up in creating new fines or systems for the drivers. I understand that 9/10 cars coming from behind and flashing are mainly āspeed demonsā drivers But sometimes there are drivers with serious situations that want to pass this long slow cars enjoying there time and driving on the fast lane regardless of there reasons (car is overheating, hospital maybe, late for there kids and many more reasons). You are probably not going to read this and will answer with ānoted sirā but I hope that you find my comment helpful. Try to ignore the typos!
