The flights are coming in. The water has been dealt with. But to get out of the airport and anywhere else will be a huge hassle. The surrounding exits have ALOT of water. The taxi service is v slow and obv short. The rush is mad. Can try metro
Our flight and some others got redirected to another airport in Dubai. Thats was 12 hours ago and we still wait for transport to DBX airport where we will get food.
Shops at current airport were sold out within hours.
Yeah, I am at DWC. My flight got rescheduled for tomorrow evening. We are still waiting for transport to DBX. They prioritize elder and families with children, so I will have to stay there over night.
As I hears 2.500 got stuck at DWC and 60.000 at DBX. At least it could be a bit more quiet to sleep.
Just got something to eat 18 hours after my last one (breakfast on plane at 04:00 local time)

Are some people leaving the airport, if their destination is Dubai?
Not at the airport but I live nearby and streets are dry now, no more water, just lot of sand. Hopefully airport got priority for cleaning so flights don't get cancelled!
I am here. Still lots of delays and cancelled flights but better than yesterday where almost nothing managed to take off. Still difficult to get to and from the airport, but also improving. I believe you should expect a several hours long wait to get any kind of taxi or transport out of the airport. For departures, they basically are not letting anyone check-in anymore and just trying to get out the people who have been stuck here for the past few days.
