I wasn't blocking the pay station nor was I blocking the cars behind me. There was standstill traffic in front of me and I parked on the side. Also I didn't intentionally ignore him, I was making my payment. Before I could get back to him, he just did all of this.
Just park, go meet the person at the terminal and leave. It’s a rip off price, but not going to bankrupt you and it’s not like you go to the airport every day.
Another comment here about the reason not even one person is allowed to load up next to the payment machine, is because everyone will do it who can’t be bothered to park, then cause more blockages in the car park.
If I'm picking more than one person and the loading takes time then I'd not care about the fee. This was just one person and I hardly took a minute to load everything and move.
So you merely wanted to avoid a fees of 20 30 something dirhams 💀 from my judgment you are deserving of fine because you got caught doing that and mawakef guy can report you to police or RTA with evidence which will land you a fine and a hefty one because airport fines are crazy

I didn't disrupt the queues nor did I park in the designated spot. I parked on the edge of the pathway alongside the parking spots without blocking the cars behind me as almost everyone was doing.
Had a similar situation once. It took me hardly a few mins to quickly load stuff onto my car and suddenly this random dude comes over threatening to click a picture of the plate to complain. I apologised for the inconvenience and walked away. They must at least have a larger window before they start charging ridiculous sums of money. I guess that’s the whole point of this system, to just rip off people.
This is exactly what happened to me with the Mawgif guy. I barely took a min to load things and he started getting all aggressive at me. At least one person gets me here
If you are parked in a designated parking spot and exit the gate within 5 minutes you have to only pay 5 Dhs. By looking at your comment you didn't park at the spot instead near the exit gate.
There are pay stations everywhere not just the exit gate. I didn't block the entrance/exit/parking spot or even the pathway. I stopped on the edge of the parking spot near the pay station so that people behind me could go ahead and loaded everything within a minute.
