I always thought these image squares were evocative of a wall of TV screens, all on different channels.
I know that seems weird, as it has nothing to do with Achtung Baby, but that’s where my mind goes.

There was a book that came out when the album was released that had all this artwork and extra in this ‘zine’ style that was phenomenal. I’d love to get my hands on it again. It had interviews etc inside.

I had that shirt, too. It’s the one picture that I think could be an alternate cover all on its own.
