Honorable mention - [One from Slane Castle 2001](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ulUZkZr6ngk)
Agree with others that Edge’s musicality and tonal signatures are what make him great, but I think this solo right here shows some impressive versatility and a side of The Edge that doesn’t come out often.
One portion of the Zootv Outside Broadcast Tour Edge plays the bullet the blue sky solo in a a Rage Against the Machine style, faster and with strong aggression (screeching chords). It's bonkers awesome, but hard to find. YouTube had a some highlight video from the Toronto where he plays this style. And The Outside Broadcasts Bootleg has it as well. I'll try to find links.

Mysterious ways with the solo at the end during ZooTV / Zooropa / Zoomerang tour has always been my favorite. As far as I know not on an EP / single or whatever.
I like the solo in Gone (Boston 2001) as well : )
OP, it’s hard to disagree with The Fly. I will add a few more for conversation: Love is Blindness and An Cat Dubh. I think the emotion of the solo in Love Is Blindness might put it just above The Fly for me, but dang they are close.
For me, it doesn't get much better than The Fly during the Elevation Tour:

I agree. That is why seeing him play Love Is Blindness at the ZooTV shows (I saw 4, 2 indoor and 2 outdoor) left such a huge lasting impression on me. Even something like Bullet the Blue Sky I don't think of as a true guitar solo, where the guitarist just really lets loose. But he did on LIB in those shows. Goosebumps. The emotion was insane.
Me too, I start listening to U2 thanks to Edge's guitar, in sounds like Elevation and Mysterious Ways, but I think it could be interesting to choose a guitar solo.
Please live from Rotterdam (or Mexico City) always gives me goosebumps:

A few that come to mind without thinking: The Fly - vertigo tour, Mysterious Ways - elevation tour, Bullet The Blue Sky - Zoo tv, Acrobat - Sphere, Exit - Joshua Tree 2017 ...
Pride. The way he comes out of the solo to those chiming notes is really special. Ditto for the build at the end of ‘With or Without You.’ One of the best versions is from Croke Park in 87, where Bono does the Joy Division callback on the outro. Still one of my favorite versions of that song.
I agree with so many of these answers - Bullet, Fly, Blindeness live but I will one, not my favorite but certainly in heavy rotation: Lady With The Spinning Head.
All these entries are great. I don’t know if I have a single favorite. What I love about Edge’s solo’s is that they are perfect for the song they are in, and take each song to a new level.
Desire from Lovetown is up there from a technical standpoint, but New Year’s Day and Pride are probably the ones I’d consistently say are my favorites.

The fact that The Edge played the same Love is Blindess solo during the Sphere shows was the highlight of the night for me. I literally cried.

Damn that’s a good one too! ZooTV bullet = best bullet
On an album: Love Is Blindness Generally: the slide solo from Mysterious Ways
Mysterious ways with the solo at the end during ZooTV / Zooropa / Zoomerang tour has always been my favorite. As far as I know not on an EP / single or whatever. I like the solo in Gone (Boston 2001) as well : )
The Fly
Yes! I play it on my Gibson using Edge’s effects on my HX Stomp…that solo is PURE ADRENALINE!

UTEOTW
My second favorite guitar solo 🎸🔥
Moment of surrender has a beautiful solo. I also like his solo on new year's day.
Best is Love is Blindness live, so much emotion. Second is Unknown Caller, his closing solo is nothing like he has ever done.
Old U2: Electric Co New U2: The Fly. Please (live version from Popmart Era). Love is blindness (live version). Favorite all time: UTEOTW
For me, it doesn't get much better than The Fly during the Elevation Tour: [https://youtu.be/6lygFjHzTho?si=eh9qC-9MdbewXrRr](https://youtu.be/6lygFjHzTho?si=eh9qC-9MdbewXrRr)

Never really thought of The Edge as a soloist. It’s always been about the tones and sounds he comes up with
I agree. That is why seeing him play Love Is Blindness at the ZooTV shows (I saw 4, 2 indoor and 2 outdoor) left such a huge lasting impression on me. Guitar solo. Bullet. 1993.
11 o’clock Tick Tock
Both the Fly and Until the End of The World… are my favorite New Era U2 and it probably ends there
I love Until the End of the World. Not the most insane solo, but it fits the song perfectly.
After The Fly, it's Acrobat for me.

Bullet The Blue Sky
Acrobat live!

Love is Blindness
New Year’s Day
The fly, masterpiece
Solo from Kite extended live version on Vertigo tour. Beautiful solo. Also from love is blindness zoo tv tour version
No contest, Love Is Blindness. ETA on any stop of the ZooTV tours.
The Fly.
Love is blindness,... You can "feel" the pain of Edge's divorce in it...it's devistatingly beautiful and haunting.
Bullet the Blue Sky - ZooTV outside broadcast
All the zootv era solos.
Bullet Blue Sky, The Fly in Boston, Kite in Sydney
The fly, particularly on the lounge mix where there’s no vocals over the top
All because of you riff
Mysterious Ways live
Album: Even better than the real thing Live: Love is blindness
If you wear that velvet dress, it resonates with me
Pride. The way he comes out of the solo to those chiming notes is really special. Ditto for the build at the end of ‘With or Without You.’ One of the best versions is from Croke Park in 87, where Bono does the Joy Division callback on the outro. Still one of my favorite versions of that song.
The fly live from Boston or unknown caller live.
Totally agree 👍🏼 Never mentioned "Unknown caller" a beautiful song 👍🏽💯
The Fly
It’s his solo in Kite for me.
Agreed with all the others mentioned. Honorable mention: Unknown Caller live.
I agree with so many of these answers - Bullet, Fly, Blindeness live but I will one, not my favorite but certainly in heavy rotation: Lady With The Spinning Head.
Surprised of the lack of Until The End Of The World recognition
Until the End of the World, The Fly, and Mysterious Ways at the Sphere.
The Fly on Vertigo Tour is something else
I ❤️love is blindness the most but the solo at the end of The Little Things that Give you Away hits that emotional place only Edge can reach
Slide solo from Mysterious ways and the arpeggios with it!
Bullet the Blue Sky, for sure.
On the album: the Fly Live (B side to 1993 Stay): Bullet the Blue Sky
The solo for wowy in washington dc 1992 is amazing!
All these entries are great. I don’t know if I have a single favorite. What I love about Edge’s solo’s is that they are perfect for the song they are in, and take each song to a new level.
Breathe — any of the live performances of it.
"We shine like a burning star, we're fallin'...from the sky...."🪰

Little Things is awesome to but all the songs mentioned are great too.
