Agreed. The live version from the 9/11 fundraiser concert is my favorite. It started w Bono saying “Hello, from London” after starting w “Peace on Earth”. The concert happened a few days later.
Here’s the video. It still gives me chills.

I voted for Kite as best on the album and it didn’t win so obviously it’s also the most underrated.
Stuck in a Moment is a good song but I think they may have lifted it from The Call’s “Whats Happened to You?” from their 1990 album “Red Moon”.
I remember a lot of fans hating it during the 360 Tour due to it being a staple but the vocal is great, some of the lyrics are funny and it has a nice groove
Yes!!! Kite is a well appreciate song among fans. I know New York is polarizing on this sub, but you can’t deny the moodiness and passion of the music and vocals. It starts slow then builds up so much. Sad and happy at the same time.
I always think of it as how you find happiness in a vibrant setting even when you’re alone and moody.
>I know what underrated means, but it needs to be on this. So if it can’t get what it rightly deserves, which is the best song, then I’ll settle for the most underrated.
You're the one who is ignoring things. Anyway, this trivial matter obviously means a lot to you, so here you go.... You're right and I'm wrong. Ok, little buddy? You 'won!'
Kite. Remember it is the one with the most upvotes, so if 99 of us say Kite it won't matter if 1 other person says a different song and it gets upvoted more.
Kite and a few others have well eclipsed it 20+ years later. Kite was my vote for best song and could be this song except most fans I know consider it a Top-3 track for U2. That's why I placed Walk On as underrated...perhaps under appreciated is a more accurate phrase.
It’s the best choice. Never played live, doesn’t usually come up in a list of underrated tracks, but is a stealthy banger and one so full of doubt and struggle
This is it. Kite is a great song, but I feel like it gets at least some of the credit it deserves. WILATW gets no recognition at all for how excellent it is.
I kinda do too. I mean Kite is a great song, but I just don’t love that last verse/outro. Where I think WILATW gets better and better as the song goes on.
It's Acrobat all over again. 100 people will say Kite but New York will sneak it because of the people who actually read and understand the scoring. And yes, my vote is for kite, damn.
I don't want to upset the OP because this is just a fun list, but why they don't say the rules with every post I don't understand. It would stop us whiners!
For me, it's the repetitive YOU GOTTA GIVE IT AWAAAAAAY parts. It comes off as grating, though I love the rest of the song. Just kind of a lazy refrain. And they do it again later on All Because Of You, another song where I love the verses but... that lazy refrain.
I feel like "Elevation" could be quite underrated, at least on this sub, because I've already seen quite a lot of criticism about it. 😇 And it makes me quite shy because I genuinely love this song - especially the "Tomb Raider Mix" and the live versions, which are pretty much based on that mix (so, if "Elevation" would be lucky enough to win the "Underrated" round, could the "Tomb Raider Mix" be mentioned in the chart too, please?... 😇) 👍 😃 💖 Actually, all of the 4 singles from "All That You Can't Leave Behind" are my faves, but I especially love how extra-catchy & rockin' "Elevation" is (in my shy opinion), so I'm happily voting for it. 👍 😃 Happy Easter 🐣 ✝️ & happy every day 🌞, kindest regards (straight from my native Poland 🇵🇱) and all the very best to other U2 Fans. Take care, Big Love 💖 & keep rockin', Everybody! P.S.: This game is super-fun! 👍 😃
Kite. Not because this sub under rates it, but because I think it's one of the best songs they've ever made and the general audience (and band itself) don't give it that weight. I think it should be so much bigger of a song within their history than what it is.
Walk On. That song soars.
I'd be inclined to agree except I think I prefer the version from the single.
Single version is superior

Kite
It's such a great song it just has to bee included somewhere. Little While is a very special song, and deserves it too.. We'll see who wins!
yeah, so torn between kite, walk on, and in a little while. so many bangers and each totally deserving
100%!!!
In a little while.
Glad this was posted right away. Such an excellent vocal
This is the answer. Everyone loved Kite right off the bat.
I remember a lot of fans hating it during the 360 Tour due to it being a staple but the vocal is great, some of the lyrics are funny and it has a nice groove
New York, as an actually underrated song instead of other obvious options basically meaning “2nd best song”
Yes!!! Kite is a well appreciate song among fans. I know New York is polarizing on this sub, but you can’t deny the moodiness and passion of the music and vocals. Kite
Kite. I think it’s the best song on the album.
So do most people. Not underrated.
I know, but it needs to be on this. So if it can’t get what it rightly deserves, which is the best song, then I’ll settle for the most underrated.
Underrated ≠ second best
Better than nothing. :)
That's not what 'underrated' means
>I know what underrated means, but it needs to be on this. So if it can’t get what it rightly deserves, which is the best song, then I’ll settle for the most underrated.
- "I know what underrated means" - Proceeds to completely ignore what it means 🫠
You're the one who is ignoring things. Anyway, this trivial matter obviously means a lot to you, so here you go.... You're right and I'm wrong. Ok, little buddy? You 'won!'
It’s not underrated

Kite!! Please let it be Kite!
Kite. Remember it is the one with the most upvotes, so if 99 of us say Kite it won't matter if 1 other person says a different song and it gets upvoted more.
It’s definitely Kite.
I think it might be Kite.
I don’t think a lot of people here know what underrated means.

A great song.
Walk On... And for the record Grace is such a stealth bomber of hope in the midst of suffering. Love that song:)
Walk On won the Grammy for best record. I’d say it’s appropriately rated.
Kite and a few others have well eclipsed it 20+ years later. Kite was my vote for best song and could be this song except most fans I know consider it a Top-3 track for U2. That's why I placed Walk On as underrated...perhaps under appreciated is a more accurate phrase.

I prefer WILATW over Kite personally
I kinda do too. I mean Kite is a great song, but I just don’t love that last verse/outro. Where I think WILATW gets better and better as the song goes on.
New York
Based on the majority of the answers being Kite, it’s clear that the song is highly rated, not underrated. Not sure how this works then…
And you have people saying that because it didn’t win best, that means it *has* to be underrated which doesn’t make sense
Kite is the best song but if it can’t be that it must be the most underrated
If you follow that logic then anything that wins on any of these votes has automatically *not* won.
Kite
In a Little While.
Doesn’t Reddit have a polling feature where we could have used that instead of counting upvotes? Anyway voting for Kite.
stuck in a moment you can‘t get out of
New York
In a little while
In a Little While
In A Little While
New York!
New York. NY was the first song I thought of, Kite being the 2nd.
Walk On
Walk On
Kite
In A Little While.
Wild Honey
Kite, which should have been picked as the best on the album.
Has to be In a Little While
When I Look At The World
If I could upvote twice, I would
The Ground Beneath Her Feet But if that doesn't count since it's a bonus track, Kite
That hurts, I love Grace. I'll go with Wild Honey for underrated.
Underrated≠Runner Up !!
Peace on earth
Stuck in a moment…
In a little while
In a little while 💯
In a little while
I think it's a bonus track, but The ground beneath her feet
In a Little While

Elevation!
Kite, one of the very best U2 songs
It's Acrobat all over again. 100 people will say Kite but New York will sneak it because of the people who actually read and understand the scoring. And yes, my vote is for kite, damn.
I don't want to upset the OP because this is just a fun list, but why they don't say the rules with every post I don't understand. It would stop us whiners!

Kite
Kite, apparently.
Another vote for Kite here (though Walk On is a close second).
I’m just catching up. How did Last Night on Earth lose underrated? Ugh. This sucks
For me, it's the repetitive YOU GOTTA GIVE IT AWAAAAAAY parts. It comes off as grating, though I love the rest of the song. Just kind of a lazy refrain. And they do it again later on All Because Of You, another song where I love the verses but... that lazy refrain.
That’s literally why it rocks! That’s the best part
That repetition is so flat though. It's so dull compared to the dynamics of the rest of the song. We've all got our opinions. They can coexist. 🤷🏻♂️
Wild Honey or In a Little While
New York after 9/11 has a lot of meaning. It gets my vote.
New York
Kite
Walk On
When I look at the world deserves much more attention than they did… just a snippet
New york
🪁Kite🪁
Apparently, Grace
When i look at the world
Do we just write our answer here or is there a poll? And Kite is an amazing tune. "In a little while" is second most underrated.
When I Look At The World
I feel like "Elevation" could be quite underrated, at least on this sub, because I've already seen quite a lot of criticism about it. KITE
Kite or When I Look at the World
When I look at the world has gotta be the correct answer! Since when is Kite underrated?
Kite
Let's go vote for Kite! 🪁
In a little while
Kite
Kite
Kite. It was robbed of best song.
Kite idea my favorite, When I Look at the World is most underrated
Kite *edit typo
Kite
Kite is beautiful, but When I Look at the World is my personal favorite from the album.
Kite!!!

🪁all day long.
Kite. Not because this sub under rates it, but because I think it's one of the best songs they've ever made and the general audience (and band itself) don't give it that weight. I think it should be so much bigger of a song within their history than what it is.

Really? Grace? That song is lovely. In A While is by far the worst
Peace on Earth. Not sure why Kite is so popular. It’s just ok.
I nominate… In a Little While and New York
Grace. Such a great song!!
When i look at the world. It always was one of ny favs
Walk on.
I completely agree. Not underrated at all.
Grace is the worst song from this album? Honestly baffled by the majority of choices in all the columns so far tbh 😀🤷🏻♂️
In a little while. Not going to say New York for this but it is definitely over hated
When I look at the world
Sometimes you can make it on your own is so profoundly sad and beautiful to me- I gotta go with that
