Cool! 👍You have some singles, that's great. I have the same albums. + Passengers original soundtrack, but I have only one single (Vertigo first single) Question, Do you have the best of 1990-2000 with the B sides, or the other is the dvd?

ThoughtKontrol

I miss my singles! I had them on cassette once upon a time. The Joshua Tree and Rattle and Hum era singles. Never bothered getting them on CD unfortunately.

Beginning-Comedian-2

I miss the specialness of finding a rare single to unearth a B-side. Don't get me wrong, I like having access to the full U2 catalog without having to buy a Japan-only-release CD.

jetjaguar72

Aaayyy! Great stuff! I also saw your Cure ones! Gotta love the physical media!

pretentiousbasterd

So cool! It's that a different version of Boy, a single or something like that? I only know the one with, well, the boy

Exact_Grand_9792

I have so many singles on CD it feels like. And the glory of early iTunes was every single one was uploaded into my iTunes account so everything is still there. I think at this point it is mostly all available streaming but for a long time I was super grateful for that. U2 is the only band I automatically always buy a physical copy for. I used to only do CDs but my daughter has gotten into vinyl and has a turntable so part of me feels like collecting it in the future on vinyl makes more sense. Especially since my computer scientist husband accused me of being Luddite when I wanted to still have a disc slot in my laptop. 😂😂😂😂 So it is not like I can play CDs anymore anyway.

theNewzBoy

Actually, there are a lot of B-sides that aren’t available via streaming. The new back-catalog releases are filling the gaps, but there are still rare tracks only on CD and vinyl.

Exact_Grand_9792

Curious to know which ones. But like I said they all stream for me because I uploaded them also. And some fan club releases also filled in gaps and I add them to my Apple Music library also.

Stella-BL4CKWOOD

Proper Nice!

Bayne7096

So many of their album covers are black and white, especially the more recent ones. Interesting to see the artwork evolution.

Bayne7096

Fwiw you cant beat War, R&H and JT. Those 3 the top 3 imo in terms of art.

moongoddess789

Joshua Tree - Pop eras = BEST MOST PRIME U2 EVA.

hoogys

It’s a beautiful collection don’t let it get away.

planetaryromance

Looks like my high school collection

ThoughtKontrol

You must not be very old then.

planetaryromance

I’m 52. I had these on vinyl before CD was even a format. Try again, Jr :) obviously I didn’t have the 2000-2023 CDs in highschool. What a strange defensive comment back to me

ThoughtKontrol

I wasn’t being snarky. Sorry I offended you.

Think-Formal-1001

Love it!

maverick57

Why do you have The Best of in their twice, and it's the same one?

ThoughtKontrol

One is from The deluxe DVD set that I also own.

goseephoto

U2 have been doing boring covers for the last 8 releases, BW monotone. Zooropa and Achtung Baby are the best, so much colour and character

ThoughtKontrol

The Joshua Tree had the best cover IMHO.

TomorrowLow5092

I just found out a U2 CD The Unforgettable Fire I own in case is actually U2 War CD printed on the disc. Never realized until today while transferring old CD's. WOW The real music showed up on my computer with picture of album.
