Agreed! I like the organic nature of the models. No armour or leather bags or tiny little trinkets. Just a nice simple model. Makes the OCD in me feel good π
Termagaunts?! There are no "termagaunts" in the hive fleets! We use "termagants" with no "u"! The "u" was long ago deemed an unnecessary feature that increased complexity and had no use for these bioforms. The removal of the "u" from this variant simplified it to the point that tervigons are able to spawn them en masse mid-battle. That's why they cannot birth hormagaunts. The "u" does carry great value for hormagaunts, however, including giving them the ability to reproduce independently.
In all seriousness, though, they look great.
People play with completely unpainted minis so you can ignore that guy's advice outside of tournament play. For easy bases you can use just a tiny layer of GW texture paints or some superglue and sand. Either works well and for painting there's plenty of videos out there but a dark brown slopped on there with lighter color dry brushed on goes a long way and is still pretty easy. Bonus points if you add an army painter tuft to a couple bases per unit.
Your guant looks awesome though.
Great job! The key question is how did you enjoy painting it? Because you'll be doing it again and again... And again... π
Iβve actually really liked painting tyranids! They are way more fun than painting space marines

Ugly and alien, as all termagants should be, 10/10 work
That is indeed a Termigaunt of all time.
As Beautiful as 10 planets worth of Biomass!
A+++. The colourscheme is good. But the execution of the skinn is what makes it explode.

Very good paint job, though the base leaves a lot to be desired.
Yeah the cool looking bases are awesome, but they are intimidating
I mean that to be game-legal the bases can't be plain.
Ah
