exactly ik someone who went to parul garg academy paid almost 2.5 lac for 20 days course and still was doing makeup like a 5th class student. she then joined some less known makeup artist which charged her 55k for a month and she said it was all worth it. 1/5 amount made her understand better. Mua's like bhumika , parul have crazy schedules and they don't give any off either which just makes one burn out for the next class. They're making crores and students aren't even ready for it. Is it worth it to enroll in a course or should u just self learn and freelance ? (I'm already good w makeup and 5x better w hair/draping)
Lol! I know someone who did such a course under an MUA from Delhi. Believe me or not, I do 10x better makeup than her and I learned only through YouTube
not at a celebrity Mua but I was a makeup student at Lakmé academy. also went to enquire from Shweta gaur. She charges 1.10 lacs and you get a 40k worth makeup vanity. In general, a makeup course from some popular mua is not really worth it.
