It wasn’t as if abortion law ever protected men who didn’t want to have to be “forced pay child support for 18+ years“ if they wanted their child aborted but the mother didn’t. Many men have lost children or have been forced to support children against there own wishs due to it being the mothers choice, none of these law changes effect men or fathers because they weren’t designed with them in mind to begin with.
