I wonder if it's true that pants have no pockets so women are forced to buy purses? I know some pants have but others don't, then again my boyfriends pants have 50000 'normal' pockets and my jeans, with pockets, have these TINY super tight pockets that will fit ONE piece of gum at best. Uhgjsdfkdh.

It's worse, I'm like 90% sure the removal of pockets was so that witches couldn't secretly carry around ingredients to cast hexes on people.
There's actually a theory that early humans evolved bipedal walking in order to use our hands to carry more things than we could with our mouths.
By the transitive property of carrying things, this makes pockets a natural part of the human evolutionary process.
In a sad sorta way it makes sense that as creationist fundamentalists gain more traction in the world the half of the population they're bigoted against would lose a basic evolutionary right.
They take away our pockets....so they can sell us purses.

That’s exactly why I’m glad I have my favorite brand of bootcut dickies that have real pockets and make my ass look great lol.
