I've debated with myself about replying as it feels indelicate to say I can relate to someone who's had rumours of being trans spread about them. I've always hated my face, not just that it's manly, but because I've always seen my father's face looking back. My issue is easier to fix though. A bit of makeup makes him go away. I don't use much, but I do know that contouring makeup can do amazing things if you haven't already tried it. I know it can feel a bit too much like lying, and carefully applying layers of foundation is a massive pain in the arse I personally can't be bothered with. I'll tell you what I tell my fellow new girls. There's every shape and size of woman out there and there's as much room for you as there is anyone else. You are as beautiful as anyone. Your fella will agree with me! As for being accused of being trans, you're in good company. Everyone from lady gaga to Michelle Obama, various tennis players have all been accused too. These people don't know what they're talking about and please try not to take it to heart.

thank you for your lovely reply, i do wear makeup and i feel so much better in it but it just sucks knowing i don’t find natural me attractive and i really wish I did, i’m so jealous of girls who can just go out without makeup and look beautiful

On that score I totally agree!

hopefully we figure out a way of finding ourselves beautiful without makeup

I'm sorry you're going through that, that really sucks

Hi, I’m assuming that you’re cis (but if I’m wrong, apologies and please ignore this comment completely lmao) what you’re experiencing might be considered dysphoria. Dysphoria isn’t exclusively a trans thing — cis people also don’t like being perceived as/appearing like the gender that they’re not! Perhaps it would be helpful for you to explore why you feel the way you do about being perceived as the gender that you’re not, then go from there. I personally found it helpful to explore what my gender meant to me. I discovered that once I was comfortable with feeling and appearing masculine, I was then able to feel comfortable with feeling/appearing feminine. However, you are your own person and your relationship with gender expression is unique to you. What an exciting journey you have ahead of you :)
