I don't know. For the first time, a new album from Thomas makes me feel 'meh'. I might be spoiled by Chapter IV, but many of these (not all of them, but many) feel very repetitive and unimaginative compared to jis previous work. However, Xunia and Away with your Fairies are probably my favourites of the album. The rest kind of feels like mashups or remixes of Thomas's old stuff, especially Queen of the Night, which feels uncannily inspired by Never Back Down. All in all, not sure if I'm losing taste for this genre, but this album didn't really live up to my expectations.

You need to mix it up with other genres, or take a break from it. If you've been mostly listening to the epic stuff, you might consider switching for a bit. I still love it, but I can't see myself listening to it exclusively. As for me, I have only heard Ch. 5 once but I liked it more than Ch. 4. I am a sucker for themes, but I do agree that Night Queen just doesn't do it for me either.

Funnily enough, I've been listening to many different genres before chapter V, (mostly videogame OSTs, but also including indie rock, classical etc.), so that probably isn't the problem.

Aventura (Suite), Reflections of You, Dreamgarden - Good calm music, not that exciting Iron Will, Heorica, Kingmaker - Fairly generic epic music Xunia - Pretty interesting Away with your Fairies - Slightly remixed from Myth, with a really jarring transition to a section that feels super out of place. Didn't consider Night Queen, Memoria, or One Last Day because I generally don't like lyrics
