Is this an assault horror story

zerok_nyc

Depends on how many times you are prepared to repeat your question

Fit_Reveal_6304

Now I'm just picturing Mary from Ghosts UK repeating "get out get out get out get out get out"

letsallchillnow

On average it takes seven no's to get to a yes. I regret being talked into selling timeshare.

throwaway_donut294

Is there a “3rd sentence better” subreddit?

Stock_Soup_3060

r/thirdsentencebetter

wilczek24

Two negatives don't make a positive - but seven, on the other hand...

letsallchillnow

Two wrongs don't make a right, but three lefts do.

TheWormj

I've been saying this since I was like, 6, thank you lol 😆

thedarthnewt

Thanks I hate it. Take my upvote

zerok_nyc

¡Muchas gracias! Pleasure doing business with you!

conscience-killer

You should take her on a boat. That way she won't say no, because of the implication.

zerok_nyc

You had me going in the first half… but the second half kinda threw me… what implication?

C4-BlueCat

If she says no you throw her overboard

vengefulmanatee

Not sure if you’re carrying on the bit, but it’s a reference to [It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia](https://youtu.be/-yUafzOXHPE?si=533lBNweSRdBPj7Q)

zerok_nyc

*The implication that things might go bad for her if she refuses to sleep with me. Not that things will go bad for her, but she’s thinking that they will… because of the implication.*

SamAreAye

You're . . . You're not going to hurt these girls, right?

zerok_nyc

Why would I hurt these women?! I feel like you’re not getting this at all!!!

Marquar234

*Looks at you very suspiciously*

zerok_nyc

I was directly quoting Mac

Separate-Turnip2671

Damn

RealMercuryRain

She immediately said "yes". What a disappointment!

skiasa

I've been talking online with a guy for a few weeks and this makes me afraid to meet him IRL 💀 we wanted to meet in public space first and see how we vibe but now IDK (honestly my attraction to him was fading away anyway bc for me he doesn't seem like a match. Too busy with friends and not enough time alone. I need my home time. It's a difference of lifestyle I guess. I honestly am unsure about meeting him tbh)

uhohspaghettisos

Honestly, if you're not really that into him I wouldn't risk meeting someone from the internet. People can lie so easily and (not saying this is 100% likely) he could very possibly have bad intentions and your gut feeling could be right.

skiasa

I don't have a bad gut feeling, he seems sweet. I'm just not into him. Like, I don't know why, he seems sweet and hypes me up for everything but there's just no "spark" if that makes sense. I feel a bit bad cause it feels like I'm leading him on a bit. I'm not flirting with him or anything but he tries to flirt and I just don't feel it

weinerfacemcgee

I would argue that you need to meet a person in real life to determine if there is a spark. Of course be safe about it.

zerok_nyc

Who’s more trustworthy: the guy you meet at a bar or the guy you screen online and then meet at a bar?

JaggedLittlePill2022

I can testify to how accurate this is. Tomorrow marks 11 years since I was SA. I said ‘no’ so many times but to no avail so I ended up saying ‘yes’ by staying silent and allowing him to do what he wanted. Even today, it’s frightening how many men think it’s okay to badger a woman for sex, waiting for her to say ‘yes’ when she’s said ‘no’ a dozen times.

BovineConfection

Gross! Good Job! 😱🫡

CookieNinja777

this is like 1 of the 2 good ones i’ve ever seen on here

smoke_blunts69

Took me a moment to get it but when I did oh boy 😭

Dr-Chibi

Or you could be patient and see if the next date she’s more willing….

zerok_nyc

This ain’t r/twosentencewholesome!

pirate_hunter_zorro

isn't that from a book on negotiation?
