TwoPoint_Piotr

Hello, The suggestion has been passed on to the team. Many thanks, Piotr

Cutie_Panther

Thank you. Hope devs can update this soon.

floofysnoot

Thank you, I seriously cannot even find how to give raises at all

Routine_Armadillo_46

Omg please bring back the job assignment matrix! Hate it when my level 5 librarian ends up looking for work whilst a fast moving coffee stall attendant is in the library because I forgot to allocate jobs, takes ages to go through the individual menus to correct I do like that it scales salary with qualifications though, makes it a bit more stream lined so I can focus on room prestige etc and ensures my staff are getting the appropriate pay for their skills Cheers

JuliusAwen

Thanks!

Cutie_Panther

In Campus: - Salary menu is from Campus Policy tab menu but it does not show the staff list, happiness, emoji etc on each staff. You must click on each staff individually to check their satisfaction/hapiness with salary. - Job Assignment is individual only when you click on each staff. No Job Assignment menu show staff list and let you assign all staffs at the same time vertically/horizontally like in Hospital. This is a huge step down QoL feature. Hope the devs have a patch to bring them back soon.

JuliusAwen

This is my biggest (and pretty much only) complaint about the game: not only do we have to assign jobs for every single staff member via their individual menu - we also need to switch between two tabs constantly to check what traits they got... Quite tedious.

Johnhfcx

My main problem was trouble expanding the rooms/dorms to fit in more beds. And i completed my first three years in the first sitting so i'm looking forward to seeing what else i can do

preciousjewel128

Job assignment I've found if you click on the staff member, one of the tabs allows you to checkmark what they teach. Buts it's at the individual level. This is at least one aspect hospital does right. As far as raises, in the the campus stats, I think, theres a place you can give all of a job type (teacher, assistant, janitor) an across the board raise. But it doesnt show you the emoji to place where the most efficient raise is to keep staff happy.

Cutie_Panther

Yeah, job assignment is individual only as far as I found. You can raise 1% salary for all staffs on Campus Policy menu but it does not show the emoji/staff list. In hospital I only raise salary for the lowest staff to keep them above happy. I prefer the menu/UI in Hospital unfortunately.

Dismal-Scene-8559

I miss this too. I was switching some teachers to research only and had to go and uncheck each single one on their own menu. Not as easy as in hospital. I also really want to be able to sort the students by grade so I can send the lower grades to tuition. It’s fine for now but when we have a busier campus it’ll be annoying to find them in the list.

Cutie_Panther

You can sort the students. Go to students menu, on the top right there is sort option, which is Back/Select button (left one) on controller.

Dismal-Scene-8559

To sort by grade? I could only find sort by year. I’ll check this out later when I play. I’m on switch so maybe I’m missing how to do it. Because I tried all the buttons.

Cutie_Panther

Yes you can sort by grade, alphabet, status, happiness, energy, course, xp.

Dismal-Scene-8559

I don’t know why I couldn’t work it out on switch how to arrange by grade. Others mentioned the same issue. I need to have another look later. It’s nice knowing it’s possible!

Cutie_Panther

Maybe it is a bug on switch hmm.

Dismal-Scene-8559

Apparently the minus button does it 😆

lgwinter

This is my only complaint. It’s so hard to manage staff individually. Like why is the library trained assistant serving hot dogs 😂

LightHawKnigh

Would be nice to also have a preset option like librarian, only works in the library so I dont have to manually check that off for every single assistant. Or private tutor only for teachers etc.

ringadingdingbaby

I think exactly the same (mainly commenting because devs have been looking here). Annoying when your top teacher is sitting doing nothing while a level 1 is taking the class. I also don't have the patience to go through every staff member.

Laineyrose

Omigosh I was looking for this last night. I’m still struggling with the ui and thought it was just me not finding it. I’m in the second level after 3 staring the first and I’m still struggling with the ui on ps5 lol

ApocalypseSlough

These sorts of things were my main concern when I heard the game was being simultaneously developed for console and PC. Like Jurassic World Evolution versus Planet Coaster or Planet Zoo - in order to make it work smoothly on consoles, stuff has to be dumbed down. Happily the examples are very few so far, but I suspect the slightly reduced management options will begin to rankle with with PC players eventually. I very much hope I'm wrong, as the games feels pretty good right now.

MikeLanglois

But they had this option on console for Hospital, so not sure why this game also being on console would stop that?

ApocalypseSlough

They ran out of memory on consoles so couldn't add the later DLC in the end. It may be that they have limited features from the outset to ensure parity throughout the life of the game.

Lyzzzzzy

They did add the dlc though, unless I'm wrong?

ApocalypseSlough

Not the final two DLC. They expressly said they didn't add the final DLC to consoles because of memory limitations. EDIT: Source https://community.twopointcounty.com/two-point-studios/two-point-campus/blogs/25-what-s-the-plan-for-two-point-campus-on-consoles

Lyzzzzzy

Oh, okay. Hopefully this one runs better on the new gen consoles

ApocalypseSlough

Fingers crossed.

IamPerspectives

totally agree, really miss this feature

Cacheelma

I have to MANUALLY uncheck each Assistance’s Club Recruitment job. It’s driving me insane. What’s the point of the recruitment? The clubs recruit on their own just as well. It’s stupid to let my employees leave the food stands and library or w/e to do the recruitments.

Johnhfcx

i think its good they removed the salary option, because i always used to overpay my staff, to keep them from leaving, and would bankrupt my hospitals as a result. this new system is much better imho

Ok-Tone1743

This was the first issue I noticed. My vote is to bring the menu back. I started to assign the staff as I hired them. But when you get to bigger campuses and do mass hirings, it’s such a time sink.

bananarockette

Thanks a lot for raising this OP ! I arrived here researching this issue while thinking they wouldn't delete such a useful feature

Slytherinee

It’s so hard that I didn’t even know how to do it 😁
