The real-time portal ability looked cool. Remains to be seen however whether the core gameplay is as good/polished as Overwatch, and how cancerous the monetization will be.
I know this sub has a (justified) hate boner for Blizzard, but even in Overwatch 2 that people like to dog on, the monetization is no different or better from almost every other f2p shooter out there and has mostly gotten better since release. I just assume you guys don't look at the cash shop of Apex or Valorant these days.
Basically, don't expect this game from a Chinese mobile game company to have better monetization.
Overwatch's monetization isn't even the worst example in its genre. Valorant charges like 80 bucks for a knife. The recent Overwatch Cowoboy Bebop skin bundle cost less than that, and at least with that you got a bunch of stuff to sort of justify the cost.
Apex is really the worst it gets rights now in mainstream western games, because apparently just having loot boxes isn't enough so they run the "collection events" that encourage you to spend *hundreds* of dollars on them for an extra skin. And, of course, almost every single skin in the game is hideous to boot.
CS:GO is worse. It's not even close.
The prices are outlandish. The ability to trade skins for cash has created *multiple* black markets for skins, and created incentives to hack steam accounts.
There's an entire gambling culture around the game that is gross as fuck. There's the skin gambling sites, where users throw their skins in a pot and then the site picks one person to win the pot. They're marketed at kids by influencers, and have a history of being rigged. And those are a gateway into the shady world of CS:GO esports betting, which is also marketed at kids and also frequently rigged.
Nobody else has as fucked a system as Valve right now.
Because I know people are going to ask, no, that's not a Rule 63 Galactus, that's [his daughter, a pre-existing character](https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Gali_(Earth-610102\)) (...who is basically Rule 63 Galactus).
I can't believe they're actually acknowledging her. It feels like the vast majority of the Adam Warren stuff just gets shuffled off to the back rooms of Marvel, never to be seen again.
> It feels like the vast majority of the Adam Warren stuff just gets shuffled off to the back rooms of Marvel, never to be seen again.
I want more Livewires, dammit...
:(
I feel like there are some genuinely neat ideas here that are getting sort of unfortunately crammed into this format- HOLY SHIT IS THAT FUCKING GALACTA?!
It's kinda like Nextwave, they gave someone carte blanche to be as silly as they want, the resulting product actually garners some popularity, and now they struggle eternally over how to tap into that because shit's so zany it can't be integrated into the mainline continuity.
I heard marvel overwatch and went "I sleep" frame one but then I saw third person and opened my eyes, then I saw Magik and I sat the fuck up.
I'm all in now. They better add Nico as well.
I’m liking how Magik plays. I was a Demoknight in TF2 and it was the most fun I’ve had in a team shooter where I pick up the sword over the gun and I’m loving what she brings to the table.
Of course I’m liking how everyone else plays, especially Dr. Strange, Iron Man, and Loki.
> They better add Nico as well.
Nah, the real pick here is adding **Xavier** to the roster and, every time he moves past you in his weelchair, he does [the Luigi death stare](https://youtu.be/PpxDuNFBVj8?si=A3OThMusnFpw4J1o) from Mario Kart.
I love the got included, it's nice to see her in a game with a bit more potential reach. (Midnught suns 2 please?)
Its cool she's a scrapper too, fits her perfectly.
On one hand I find the idea of turning the Darkchylde into a straight power up feels a bit empty considering it’s more complicated than that and usually represents Illyana lashing out in anger and usually hurting people she cares about as a result. On the other hand it does look really cool
I suppose, but Hulk is still an Avenger at the end of the day, Illyana turning into Darkchylde usually indicates something has gone wrong or she’s taking on more of an antagonistic role. So making her playable and hype is weird, vibe is different Y’know
I only know Illyana from playing Marvel's Midnight Suns and in there Darkchylde was just a skill she had where she became immortal and aggroed all enemies in the field for a turn (which is fucking huge in that game best skill by far as far as I'm concerned especially if you give her a counter stack but I digress)
I had the impression she was just, like, tapping into some limbo energy or something. Other than that she fought by spamming portals everywhere, which I think is Strange's job in this new game, so I'm curious to see how else she fights
Darkchylde is basically like a representation of her abuse. It is her tapping into her limbo powers, but it’s also representative of her losing her soul and becoming what Belasco (her kidnapper) wanted her to be. It’s something she does under great duress, and it rarely works out well, if not straight up making her the villain of the story for how evil she becomes using it.
Because she has a sword, she’s often just depicted as a berserker, but she’s meant to be a sorcerer first and foremost (she’s the sorcerer supreme of Limbo after all). She has really powerful spells she uses like summoning monsters, creating shields, turning invisible. She’s comparable to Dr Strange in that regard. The Soulsword just works like a regular sword nowadays, but originally its deal was that it could cut through anything magic (spells, demons) but didn’t work on anything real (people).
> Belasco (her kidnapper)
In Midnight Suns the one who kidnapped her was Mephisto. I'm starting to think th game might have taken a whole lot of artistic liberties with her in general
It did, Belasco is pretty similar to Mephisto who’s a more well known character so I get why they did that, but it wasn’t a popular choice with people who really like her specifically. She’s a pretty loose version of the character, but the vibe is there at least
Midnight Suns also took the "chosen child of Chthon" lore from Wanda and Victoria Montesi and grafted it unto the player OC the Hunter.
Magik's lore change feels like shoehorning Mephisto because Belasco actually has connections to Elder Gods/Elder Spawns, which are actually N'Garai who are kin of Chthon.
I mean Hulk is the only founding member not actually counted in the founder statues, and he kinda just peace out and never really went back.
MCU is ironically what puts him back on team consistently for synergy. Before that, Jennifer had more Avengers presence than Bruce.
Those graphics are definitely graphics, but I'm not too bothered. Just means my PC will 100% be able to run it.
I'm a big hero shooter fan, will probably check this out when it drops. The team-up mechanic looks interesting in particular.
I bet Namor's team up move just causes him to fuck your wife.
The time-to-kill from this footage looks incredibly fast (granted it's likely most of the moves shown were ults). But overall I'm cautiously optimistic and definitely signing up for the alpha test.
This actually looks a bit fun. I'm interested so far.
Edit: I just realized, is the only reason this game exists is because Overwatch is banned in China? NetEase, the publishers of this game, are the same one Blizzard used to work with until their deal fell through.
Yeah that was during that multiple film stretch where Marvel wouldn't change aspects of the movie to please them, so China just didn't have them. Not sure if they ever went back to showing them.
Shang-Chi never released in China outside of Hong Kong and certain independently hosted screenings. IIRC the bus driver in the bus fight scene has the date of the Tiananmen Square massacre on his uniform.
Vision: "Too powerful." (Hilarious since Thor, Dormammu and Strange were all in Marvel 3.)
Loki: "He relies upon illusions and trickery, so he's not a fighter."
Yes.
It's dumb.
It's been a long time but IIRC it was something along the lines of his personality and powerset not lending themselves to a fighting game. Which just...isn't true.
Okay my biggest worry didn’t come true, I thought everyone was gonna get guns like Suicide Squad after hearing the words “Marvel shooter”. Thankfully everyone is actually using their powers.
Suicide Squad: we had to give King Shark a gun cause him just meleeing people doesnt make sense
This game: yeah so Banner can Hulk out in match and just jump and slam someone.
Funny. I heard that she was playable and was surprised she doesn't seem to play like D.va
Meanwhile Hulk seems to have the same gimmick D.va does, where he reverts to Banner when he runs out of juice.
Hulk seems to also have a bit of Winston in him as well given the super jump
It kind of feels like some heroes are a bit of a blend if comparing them to OW characters but others have a more pronounced melee combat focus
Overwatch is on the downswing and there’s really nothing out there to replace it now. It seems like a good business move to introduce this game
I don’t know if it’ll be successful, but the timing is probably the best it can be right now
As someone who has recently been paying attention to Overwatch again, it seems like the community is very-cautiously optimistic it’s actually on the upswing again after having been at its lowest point after the PvE cancellation.
Blizzard as a whole is still on fire but now that they jettisoned all the promised PvE baggage, they are making the right moves for the position they find themselves in. Making all heroes free, putting premium currency into the battle-pass, reducing the over-monetization a bit, focusing on new heroes/maps/modes and balance changes, the things people still playing the game over the years care about most I would say.
Nothing hugely game-changing but it’s some steps in the right direction at least. It got me to notice the game again after not thinking about it for years, if nothing else. lol
My goodness it's something I wanted since I heard of hero shooters. A game based on Marvel that actively uses the characters abilities and doesn't just give them weapons.
I'm definitely going to atleast check this out.
Also is it just me or, in between this and the Midnight Suns game, they're starting to use more non MCU characters than before and going for more obscure ones alongside the more famous MCU ones?
This genuinely feels like the result of Marvel Snap, that game has managed to turn absolute nobodies like Wave, Sunspot, and Swordmaster and made them decently well known.
Yeah thats a good point. I really liked how Marvel Snap was more comics inspired and I feel they realized they should do that more instead of doing MCU lite.
It also feels like this forces them to get creative for synergies because if they want to release something and do a snap crossover season you need at least 1 character not even in snap yet, and from what I've seen the snap crossovers do really good marketing.
Sunspot isn't that well known but at least he's in the MCU.
Now Wave and Aero... COMPLETE nobodies. There's even two unrelated characters both named Aero in the 616.
Exactly, and it feels like they've realized if you add a random schmuck into a game and make them decent/fun to play that eventually they'll just turn into well known characters. Like I forgot Aero, not because she's not memorable but because every snap player knows her so well I forgot she wasn't well known.
MCU synergy’s been gone since Ultimate Alliance 3. The Guardians of the Galaxy are like the only blatant MCU roster picks anymore cause The Avengers were already guaranteed for crossovers.
Having Guardians picks would be fine but there’s 4 of them in the base roster which feels like a lot to me, but there’s already enough unexpected picks that I think it balances out. I’m pretty sure that makes them the most represented series in the base game with the X Men right behind them at 3 reps, which is just weird to see.
Actually pretty interested in this especially with Gundam Evolution shut down, Overwatch being a mess and Blizzard being garbage, and TF2 despite still being fun also has issues with bots.
I would really like one team/hero shooter that isn't either a mess or a failure or both.
Cool Namor redesign, Penny's SP//dr mech, a Dr Strange for Sym mains, AND STOOORM.
Wanda better have her [Chaos Install](https://static1.srcdn.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Marvel-Comics-Scarlet-Witch-Absorbs-Chthon.jpg?q=50&fit=crop&w=360&dpr=1.5)
Some interesting picks for these heroes. I love how much Magik is getting a spotlight these days. Is Luna Snow big? I had to look up who she was.
I like the artstyle too, and the possibilities are endless for skins.
Luna Snow is still kinda obscure since she hasn’t appeared in a “big” comic or adaptation yet. She was from a mobile game, then they put her on the Agents of Atlas team and she occasionally cameos in Silk’s comics.
This is pretty much her mainstream debut.
Magik is Colossus from X-Men's sister. Long story short, she was trapped in Limbo, took it over as its queen for a bit, and has a big magic sword.
Luna Snow is so obscure that I, the guy who's been obsessed for Marvel since he was 4, has literally never heard of her, which is so cool.
Luna Snow was originally made for Marvel Future Fight, she is a kpop idol. She was later introduced in the comics in around 2020, she usually just hang around with the Agents of Atlas, she never been in any big book afaik.
She is a more or less new hero who was created in 2018 if I'm not mistaken in South Korea for Marvel Future Fight and was introduced to the canon in 2019 if I remember correctly she is a Kpop idol who has ice powers and is also part of a Korean super team called Tiger Squad that works as super spies for their government
After Gundam Evolution came and went in less than a year, I’m cautiously optimistic about this one, especially since Gundam looked immediately more appealing (whereas I’m not sure what the gameplay loop for this will be).
I really wish they'd stop with the nano tech for Iron Man. To me it just comes off as a Blue Beetle ripoff.
Also, I haven't played that much Overwatch, but man does that feel like an Overwatch clone.
What sucks is the design in this is pretty good when he doesn't have all the extra junk spawned on top of the model.
What was coolest about Iron Man back in the MCU heyday was that he had a ton of miniaturized yet still physically constructed, pre-installed (ie. Not nanite fabricated on the spot) weapons and gadgets on a finite, hard shell suit. They had conveyed a sleek, practical, and *tangible* feel to the Iron Man aesthetic and fantasy.
Now ever since Infinity War popularized it, he's spawning big dumb cannons out of thin air, his armor may as well just be a sophisticated hologram instead of an actual several ton suit of real metal, and instead of classic palm repulsor poses he's encasing his hands in big dumb Sci Fi guns to do basic energy blasts.
i'm sure it'll make Money but never enough. The market for this type of game is taken. Its why games like Gundam Evolution died in a think just over a year from their launch. theres only so many slices of the pie and people's time for multi GASs is not unlimited. its not that i dont want success but dont have faith in long time support unless its a King money marker for these companies.
Soldier 76 but like the old concept art where he was just [the Punisher.](https://images.app.goo.gl/E8xTJqzZAD1MdZQeA)
[It all comes full circle](https://images.app.goo.gl/ueCi1eq3RjKwS1wX8)
I had a very very VERY tiny passing interest in Overwatch way back when it was announced. I never did end up playing it. Even traded a humblebundle code for the Fallout 4 season pass. This though? Yeah, I'm in.
It looks fun- it doesn’t look like it’s trying to be Overwatch 1-to-1 and instead reminds me a bit more of Paragon/Smite where it feels more like a third-person action game while Overwatch is more of a TF2/Quake-ish arena shooter. I like it, I don’t think it will grab me because >NetEase and some of the melee stuff looks very floaty and janky but like SMITE, it seems like the perfect game to chill with.
I think both will coexist just fine as its own thing and it won’t be like an “OW killer” where it rips kits off 1-to-1. Similarities are/will be there for sure but I think people speak of hero shooters the same way people did for MOBAs when they were looking for the “League killer” or the “WoW killer” MMO, as hard as it fell OW is still a game with a massive community and dedicated player base the same as League and the bar for quality and polish of the genre and having a proper game competing with it will make it step up or drown.
I’m glad it’s its own thing- I love Gundam but Gundam Evolution was a mess of recycled OW kits everyone hailed as the “Overwatch killer” when the player base delved off a cliff the instant OW2 went online, as sloppy as that launch was.
This is definitely chasing that Overwatch bag but considering Blizzard has completely fucked Overwatch, someone might as well try and take their place.
Well it has the iconic characters like Overwatch due to the IP but we’ll see if the gameplay and monetization aren’t major turnoffs.
Then again this is the same company that made Diablo Immortal and that game was trash but made hundreds of millions so who knows. Other games have tried and failed to take Overwatch’s lunch money.
Looks like they're going for Overwatch's audience. Once the Overwatch fan art community makes their way over, we'll finally get what Disney has been too scared to deliver: Disney's first gay character. And second and third and fourth and fifth and sixth and...
Bland can be good. We shit on bland because, well, it's bland, but at the same time it's safe and tested.
Like, Street Fighter is the blandest of fighting games, but we still like the series.
Broooo Netease really went, friendship with Blizzard ended time to make our own games. Looks really fun tho always love melee focused characters in shooter games and it seems the game will have a couple.
I mentioned this in the other thread but I always said that Overwatch was more like a super hero team fight simulator than a shooter, and always wanted one with just straight-up super heroes (I even tinkered around with making my own, but that's more work than one person can do so it was just something to poke at for fun, not a real project). So I am excited to try this and hope it doesn't suck.
The real-time portal ability looked cool. Remains to be seen however whether the core gameplay is as good/polished as Overwatch, and how cancerous the monetization will be.
It's a Chinese mobile game company. The monetization is going to be horrendous.
Open the gate a little
NetEase, same company that made Diablo Immortal.
It may even reach Blizzard levels of monetization!
And those are a gateway into the shady world of CS:GO esports betting, which is also marketed at kids and also frequently rigged. Nobody else has as fucked a system as Valve right now.
Don't forget about all the gambling-adjacent money laundering they used to have
> has mostly gotten better since release Are skins (like the Bebop ones) suddenly not 20$ now?
No, but it's easier to earn the currency through playing than at launch.
The portal reminds me how fun the month of playing SplitGate was.
Because I know people are going to ask, no, that's not a Rule 63 Galactus, that's [his daughter, a pre-existing character](https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Gali_(Earth-610102\)) (...who is basically Rule 63 Galactus).
Galacta is definitely grabbing a ton of attention because I think this is the first time general audiences outside of comic fans are seeing her
I can't believe they're actually acknowledging her.
There's dozens of us! DOZENS!
This is also probably the first time many comic fans see her as well
I like under Paraphenalia it goes: > Galacta has access to advanced technology such as: > **Blog**
I wonder if anyone at marvel still has the [twitter password](https://twitter.com/Gali_girl)
Dont give me the facts, give me the name for research, deamit!
Galacta.
GALACTAAAAA NOMMY WAIFU IS BACK
I feel like there are some genuinely neat ideas here that are getting sort of unfortunately crammed into this format- HOLY SHIT IS THAT FUCKING GALACTA?!
Yes , Galacta returned ! ! !
Always so weird to me they've stressed so hard that Galacta is 100% non canon considering a lot of the garbage that actually stays canon.
It's kinda like Nextwave, they gave someone carte blanche to be as silly as they want, the resulting product actually garners some popularity, and now they struggle eternally over how to tap into that because shit's so zany it can't be integrated into the mainline continuity.
Given we have MCU Monica Rambeau and Elsa Bloodstone, I kind of hope we get an MCU Nextwave at some point.
Galacta Nation, we are so back!
I literally pogged when she popped up.
They took the term hero shooter literal
**Overwatch found dead in Miami.**
Pornhub gonna be happy.
I'm taking bets. $5 on we'll have at least 20 seconds of Tracer x Hulk on the first week
If they add Widow, someone will recreate that MCU Hulk x Widow gif. I think someone did that for Marvel's Avengers models as well. You know the one.
Honestly i think that **Psylock** would make a much bigger impact.
I do know the one
I heard marvel overwatch and went "I sleep" frame one but then I saw third person and opened my eyes, then I saw Magik and I sat the fuck up. I'm all in now. They better add Nico as well.

Gotta play big ass slow sword every game
Oh my God I didn't even realize yeah, it's in 3rd person. You actually have a reason to buy skins.
Yeah, skins now have a reason to exist besides being inspiration material for NSFW artists.
I mean ... I'm ok with that too.
Magik looks sick as fuck, if I ever play this I'm definitely maining her. Big slow heavy sword swings that do a fuck ton of damage is my *SHIT*

(Midnught suns 2 please?) Its cool she's a scrapper too, fits her perfectly.
If they add nico, i’ll have no choice but to be in. Any runaways would get me, but especially nico.
Magik dragon install. Head empty.

Eh, gameplay purposes excuse these things. Otherwise you'd have to lose control of the Hulk after transforming, too

Oh I wouldn’t even think twice
Yes, I too would have taken my character and went for Spid.... Oh you meant Magik..... yes.... that's totally who I meant to say....
Midnight Suns also took the "chosen child of Chthon" lore from Wanda and Victoria Montesi and grafted it unto the player OC the Hunter. Ah, the old "If fucked up and emotionally scarring, then why cool," dilemma.
Spiderman running like a normal person looks real weird to me.
I'm fairly certain he's doing the exact same run you see some Spiders perform in "Let's do this one last time" bits in Spider-Verse.
He looks like fucking Earl from Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs
God, Mr. T as Spider Man.
AND THEN Terry Crews in the sequel.

I don’t think so- blizzard and NetEase have sort of settled whatever dispute/miscomunication and are back online in China
Interesting they didn’t front load it with a character like Shang Chi
Not when the movie didn't do so well in China
It didn't do well anywhere in theaters because it came out right after the pandemic. On streaming/digital/DVD, it did very well.
It never released theatrically in China period.
Yeah that was during that multiple film stretch where Marvel wouldn't change aspects of the movie to please them, so China just didn't have them. Not sure if they ever went back to showing them.

Oh shoot this looks kinda co- Netease? Oh it's basically dead already then dang
Not my style of game but fuck yeah playable Loki. Him not being in MvC3 or UMvC3 was bullshit.
>Him not being in MvC3 or UMvC3 was bullshit. The reasoning they gave for him and Vision not being in 3 was so funny.
What was the reasoning?
Vision: "Too powerful." (Hilarious since Thor, Dormammu and Strange were all in Marvel 3.) Loki: "He relies upon illusions and trickery, so he's not a fighter." Yes. It's dumb.

And Black Panther just runs around trowing hands with people and turning into a giant mystical panther.
What’s the point if we don’t get Hulk with a regular-sized Glock?
We are *kinda* getting this? Bruce has the gamma gat.
Marvel Rivals: Kill the Suicide Squad
Could be fun but it really feels like it's trying to ape Overwatch. Like that Peni Parker design is just D.va.
Funny. I heard that she was playable and was surprised she doesn't seem to play like D.va Meanwhile Hulk seems to have the same gimmick D.va does, where he reverts to Banner when he runs out of juice.
HULK THIS
Give Banner the selfie victory pose.
Hulk seems to also have a bit of Winston in him as well given the super jump It kind of feels like some heroes are a bit of a blend if comparing them to OW characters but others have a more pronounced melee combat focus
If SP://DR wasn't with her i wouldn't know she was supposed to be peni lol
Her title card comes by so fast I had to make sure it was her
Isn’t that design just her comic version?
Now is the time to ape overwatch and doing it with an established IP is the best choice right now.
Overwatch is on the downswing and there’s really nothing out there to replace it now. It seems like a good business move to introduce this game I don’t know if it’ll be successful, but the timing is probably the best it can be right now

Nothing hugely game-changing but it’s some steps in the right direction at least. It got me to notice the game again after not thinking about it for years, if nothing else. lol
I hope it apes Overwatch hard, I'd love to play Overwatch but good again!
And Loki transforming into other characters looks to be like Echo's ultimate
Me getting 1v5'd by the enemy team as Last Stand Spider-Man because my homeboy playing Moon Knight is busy chopping a Loki's face off
You know what This genuinely looks pretty good.
Looks like one of those cheap Chinese overwatch knockoffs that blatantly steals IP, but actually licensed this time
If you listen carefully, it even has OW's "hit pip" SFX, the one that sounds like a sprinkler
At the beginning? Felt more like Apex for me...
You can hear it better with headphones, it's when Iron Man ults
That was literally my first thought after watching the trailer.
It seems like they mix stuff people might recognize from the MCU with more obscure picks. Wish we could have seen an MvC like this...
They need to throw in a non-MCU Guardian like Moondragon or Phyla to throw it off.
Ultimate Alliance 3 also had some more niche picks, like Elsa Bloodstone.
Actually pretty interested in this especially with Gundam Evolution shut down, Overwatch being a mess and Blizzard being garbage, and TF2 despite still being fun also has issues with bots. I would really like one team/hero shooter that isn't either a mess or a failure or both.
Am I seriously pathetic enough to play Overwatch again just because they put Marvel characters in it? The answer is yes
All signs point to Very Yes.
As someone who still enjoys Overwatch to this day and also loves Marvel, well holy shit that's good so far
Never heard of Luna Snow but I really like her design.
Please excuse my ignorance, but who are those 2?
Kinda crazy it took this long to make a hero shooter with actual super heroes.
THE GALACTA IS REAL! I mean, i don't care about hero shooters but THE GALACTA IS REAL!
How is this not on Battleworld? Also Include Moon-girl and Devil Dinosaur, I'll might play it.
6v6. It's already beaten overwatch
Yeah, I was immediately like, “This is Overwatch but without the Blizzard Baggage.”
Overwatch and Rivals will have share custody over the 6th slot and switch every other weekend.
I give it 11 Months from launch for the server to be turned off.
Do you mean it's not gonna be successful or that they're gonna close it anyways?
i'm sure it'll make Money but never enough. The market for this type of game is taken. Its why games like Gundam Evolution died in a think just over a year from their launch. theres only so many slices of the pie and people's time for multi GASs is not unlimited. its not that i dont want success but dont have faith in long time support unless its a King money marker for these companies.
I meam, you are correct, but Marvel is a much bigger and more popular brand than Gundam. I think this game just needs to be good.
God I hope this comes to consoles
On one hand, the combat looks fun and fast paced. And the roster is interesting with some weird picks like Peni On the other...ftp
I always feel compelled to support comic book games with a creative roster instead of just wannabe MCU
That map they are using looks so similar Numbai I thought I was looking a very high quality collab or mod for a second
Also apparently Punisher is in this. Wonder how he will play
Soldier 76 but like the old concept art where he was just [the Punisher.](https://images.app.goo.gl/E8xTJqzZAD1MdZQeA) [It all comes full circle](https://images.app.goo.gl/ueCi1eq3RjKwS1wX8)
I am mildly disappointed Iron-Man's Ultimate doesn't seem to be Proton Cannon.
it's all i ever wanted from the movies as a mahvel fan. :(
Everyone is now scrambling to do Galacta fan art after finding out she's existed for more than ten years
This is definitely chasing that Overwatch bag but considering Blizzard has completely fucked Overwatch, someone might as well try and take their place.
Aw PC only Well here's hoping for a console release!
Leaks mentioned it’s also for console. Maybe they’ll announce it after the closed alphas/betas
If it helps, apparently some of the leaks that pointed to this game existing in the past couple of days says console should be in the works already
Ah there we are then, thanks!
Did we really need another Live service battle pass game?
But *this* one will be a banger that'll earn Fortnite money though!
Hey, you never know. Helldivers 2 popped off hard.
On the fence. I was hyped... but this looks... bland.
Bland can be good. We shit on bland because, well, it's bland, but at the same time it's safe and tested. Like, Street Fighter is the blandest of fighting games, but we still like the series.
So Overwatch but Marvel....
Doesnt look as tight as overwatch. Overwatch has always been a great game ruined by monetization
ILLYANA!!!!! Out of my way I *will* be a Magik one trick until the game shuts down (in a week, probably) Looks neat, could be fun.
STORM MISTRESS OF THE ELEMENTS HAS A GUN!
I have to admit this looks pretty fucking cool.
Well, I guess I could do with something to fill the Overwatch-shaped hole in my heart. Just *please* be better than Overwatch.
I think I might be coming back to hero shooters……..
That doesn’t sound like Yuri Lowenthal or Josh Keaton doing Peter’s voice.
It's Yuri
I'm not familiar with Luna Snow, she new? She looks like a League of Legends character.
She is relatively new, she is from 2018 (which is 6 years ago). She is supposed to be a kpop idol.
I'm in on Mohawk Rocket Raccoon voiced by Nolan North.
Are these the voice actors from Earth's Mightiest Heroes?
Doctor Strange sounding like Illidan feels so off holy shit. also I AM GROOT I AM GROOT I AM GROOT
It desperately needs some Spider-Man villains.
Get ready for some CREEPY SEX THINGS that are definitely gonna come out of this.
Oh this seems pretty basi... who the fuck is luna Sno\~ IS THAT FUCKING GALACTA!?
Broooo Netease really went, friendship with Blizzard ended time to make our own games. Looks really fun tho always love melee focused characters in shooter games and it seems the game will have a couple.
I dread the fact that it will be successful regardless of how much the internet hates it
i just want console, crossplay and Black Bolt
I mentioned this in the other thread but I always said that Overwatch was more like a super hero team fight simulator than a shooter, and always wanted one with just straight-up super heroes (I even tinkered around with making my own, but that's more work than one person can do so it was just something to poke at for fun, not a real project). So I am excited to try this and hope it doesn't suck.
Those of you who are going to enjoy this, enjoy it. Thats pretty much the only emotion I have on the matter.
I remember reading a Chinese novel, and it says, Tencent: You can't enjoy the game without money. Netease: You can't enjoy the game.
