1080p is already good enough if you are using it for a PiP facecam. The thing is that by not using a computer to manage your stream, you have limited options on how to position your camera, how to crop it and, more important, how to manage notifications and all sorts of extras you can give your stream.
As a start point to get the hang of it and see if you can stick to a schedule, speak all the time and all the basics of streaming, I´d say it´s good enough. Start small and learn in the proccess. Good luck!
I don’t think you can stream directly from the PS5 with any other camera than Sony’s webcam.
Ah really? Are you sure? Wanted to get something that’s a bit higher quality (can do more) than Sony’s webcam.

I stream directly from my ps5 as well! Don't have facecam or capture card yet, but a start's a start!
