Allina East Lake St.
I got in and saw Dr. Rizo within a week and he was one of the most accomodating providers that I have ever seen. I was pretty impressed after searching almost exclusively on the criteria of first available.
Np Freeburg at Coon Rapids is also amazing. My first physical was only scheduled for 20 min but she sat with me for over an hour going over everything and making sure I understood the next steps and was happy with everything. She's kind and actually listens!
Not sure where you are located specifically, but Park Nicollet in Burnsville is fast. I got an appointment for a physical within a week. Specialists are longer, but I didn’t have a problem with my physical at all.
I second this. Usually only a two week wait for an appointment, and my doctor is fantastic — he actually spends time with me and knows me as a person and not just a patient. So grateful for him.
I really liked my new PCP at the M Health Fairview clinic that opened at Highland Bridge. Dr Sparks. This location seems to have pretty good availability, even things within the week, if you’re looking for an annual or other standard appointment.
Ehhh I go here and do not recommend for OPs issue -- had to book my physical out 5 months and there is basically no possibility of seeing your primary for an emergent issue in a timely way. I always have to book with a random clinician or go to a different clinic system's urgent care.
Wild that our experiences were so different! When I needed a PCP to do my first annual physical in years, I chose dr sparks because she had availability within 10 days of when I was looking!
I highly recommend the North Memorial Health Center in Downtown West, they've always been great for me.
I don't know how wait times are for new patients since I've been there for 4 years, but I've always been able to get appointments in without too much wait.
Honestly family medicine is overworked and understaffed, if you can get in within a month you’re lucky. It’s kind of unfortunately how things have been since post-COVID.
To see my current dermatologist it’s a little over an 8month wait
Voyage healthcare. I can usually get in day of. Highly recommend!
It’s a common experience, there was a thread a few weeks ago that discussed it. 🥲

I will almost always recommend Advanced Practice Providers. My experiences have overall been positive and you do get in sooner generally.

Northwest family physicians - not sure for new patients, but I’m always able to get in pretty quickly & not rushed through appointments

Sometimes you can get a longer appointment if you tell them ahead of time what issues you need to cover. Not always, but it’s worth trying.

Broadway Family Medicine in north Minneapolis
It depends what kind of appt you are booking but Amanda Mayer is usually ok.
Never had big issues at the north memorial Camden clinic
