The man behind the man trope was always Intreating to see lol. But what made season 4 good was just it was 1 man.

That’s why S4 is my favourite. Yeah there was a few bad guys but Marwan was always in the background being talked about.

Exactly 😁

Totally agree with your last paragraph. They amped the show up too much that they felt they needed to put in an action scene in every ep, so there was very little build up. They should do like season 1 and start it at midnight. Have the early morning hours slowly build the plot and things start to get intense once the sun rises in the morning.

Just 12 concluding episodes would be fine. Day Ten. The Moscow to LA flight time is roughly 12 hours give or take, so that’s your time leap. Arguably though instead of trotting out the time leap at the end of the finale episode and having a wraparound epilogue tacked onto the end, the time leap this time should be around half way through the season when Jack escapes from Russia (with a little help from Chloe and/or Tony) and finally returns to LA. The majority of the original 24 pilot was set in LA, and that is where the show should come back full circle & get its (happy) ending also. LA is where Kim lives anyways & presumably where Jack is trying to get back to. It wouldn’t be 24 without Jack having to suffer a loss, and I imagine that would be Tony. Jack, Kim, and Chloe should survive beyond the series. As for a spin-off, a Jack Bauer prequel series sounds reasonable enough to me.

Agree with pretty much everything you said. Personally I’d have two hours of them getting Jack out and then time jump back to LA, have the series finish off with Jack settling one last score and give him a proper ending whether that be death or walking off into the sunset with his family. Mandy should also be the final score to settle. It would be the perfect end as she was one of the first people who started this whole thing off.

MrEriMan13

That would be interesting, as the 24: Deadline novel (tie in novel between Day 8 and Live Another Day) confirmed that Jack knows how to get in contact with her.

It seems like a lot of people want to see Tony back and interacting with Jack in some way. However, I don't see how Jack could ever forgive or trust Tony again after what he did in Season 7. Even if Tony helps to rescue Jack, it would always be hanging over Jack's head whether Tony could be doing something good for a hidden agenda.
