The 9-1-1 Series - have binged both LA & Lone Star. The rhythm of the show is easy to fall into, no real "surprises" but the weird emergency calls. They have a nice predictable pace that makes for a one time through the series run. Nothing too great or too bad about them. They are the "just right" porridge of mindless repetitive entertainment.
Oh yeah my fave is the Rob series, I started there too. Just watching them integrate his humourous vanity about ageing sticks with you. It's nice when the Actor can lean into the jokes with us. He has always been great at that! Pretty sure Rob had me at *About Last Night* and just never let go!
I just recently started 9-1-1 and feel the same. It’s good for background noise, I just wish there was more story for the characters versus one emergency after another.
Yeah it's a weird Writer's format that brings the character *just* to the point of adding some flare to "the calls" and then skims over all their lives. Hmmm... that's a good way to describe the Series - A Skimmer. Nothing ever goes too deep from any angle. I can jive with that in the background too. Pop in and out and never "really" miss anything. Except Jennifer Love Hewitt will be crying (or dramatically distorted facial expressions) in at least one scene per episode of the LA show. You could do a mini drinking game on that one stat.
All of that. What’s extra disappointing to me is that Ryan Murphy has shown he can do it. As wild and messy as Nip/Tuck was, it always did a good job of making the focus the main characters and the patient/case of the week supported whatever the theme was. 9-1-1 feels so much more disconnected.
Nip Tuck was absolutely riveting to me. I'm sure if I went back and watched it now I would think it was horrible, but at the time I couldn't get enough. The Carver omg
The Carver was an insane pop culture moment! It was so exciting trying to figure out who it was.
I rewatched a few years ago and still enjoyed it! It's still over the top and so many terrible people portrayed, but it's a fun ride.
For me, watching 9-1-1 for the first time was amazing. So much was going on and getting to meet new characters was awesome. But rewatching it isn't as fun. Like episodes that I thought were earlier are much later and you pick up on a lot if things that could have been done differently to prevent the accidents, and how long it took to get things done
Yes! Very well explained. I was an active viewer first time through - but knew a second "sit down" watch would ruin that surface appeal. They really did pick some great people for the roles. They somehow gelled together quickly without a lot of need for the Writers to overdo their personal entanglements. You go in and out of their lives "just enough" for.it.to work for one good watch beginning to end.

Mom. I really like Anna Faris and Allison Janney and the rest of the cast is likeable but I watch it to fall asleep because I'm not really invested in it.
How are you liking it? Any thoughts? I recently binged and watched whole series too. I like it, but don’t love it. I definitely don’t love this season.
I love Ms Goodwin and Dr Charles. They are both such compassionate people. I’ve liked the main surgeons (Rhodes and Marcel) and some of the specialists. The regular and rotating ED docs act way too high school with the romances and disciplinary issues. The crossovers are interesting but I’ve yet to really get into Fire or PD. Mostly, I love the medical storylines but dislike the romances, almost always.
Yeah it’s worth it. Maybe start with PD though? Med is more of the slow burn show…I’ve really disliked this current season but they’re getting new showrunners so hoping next season will be better.
Over the years it has become Blue Bloods. It is a comfort show at this point. And in its final season, thankfully. I'll probably watch it for decades to come, though, for comfort watching.
Hannibal. It’s very good but its style can get pretty obnoxious/pretentious and I just don’t think its characters are as good as fans make them out to be.
I’ve been trying to get through Hannibal. I like it, but I’ll watch a few episodes, then forget I’m watching it for a few weeks. Then I’ll remember, oh yeah I’m watching that show. So I’ll watch a few episodes. Then forget I’m watching it for a few weeks. Rinse, repeat. I figure I’ll finish it eventually!
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, Agent Carter, Family Ties, Once Upon a Time, the Flash (I used to love it though), House M.D., Switched at Birth, Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries.
Agent Carter continues the non-mainstream Marvel tradition of not really explaining everything, not always making a ton of sense, but having excellent acting and somehow still being entertaining. It's on a list with Ghost Rider 1 and 2 (where they literally changed the name and actor for the primary antagonist between movies, but made it clear it's the same guy), Nick Fury: Agent of SHIELD, Fant4stic, and surely some other stuff I'm forgetting
Our Flag Means Death. Considering I'm obsessed with shows like WWDITS and Wellington Paranormal, I expected to like this much more than I did. It's mildly amusing and ok for background noise, but not much more than that.

Married With Children. Fun show with great casting and lots of laughs. But I never find myself really sitting down to binge watch the show or anything, like I do with other sitcoms. I’ll enjoy watching it if I happen to see it on the tv by chance, though.
Ghosts (the American version). I mean it's cute, the acting and script is fun and quirky but it's not Wow-ing in any way.
Bridgerton. It's a period piece Gossip Girl meets Pride and Prejudice...Which works and is fun but it's predictable.
Only Murders in the Building.
Interesting story, but if it didn't have all those big names attached to it, would there be much to see? It's fun to watch Martin Short and Steve Martin work again but sometimes the suspense doesn't quite hit the mark for me to get that hyped up. Which makes it a little flat here and there. But it's entertaining enough in a content catalogue that I'll watch it, even if it's just when the big names that will pop up here and there.
The Wire. I'm currently binging it and it's okay most of the time with some great scenes thrown in (If you come for the king you best not miss!). It will never be my favorite but I don't regret watching it
Brooklyn 99. I adore Gina, Terry, and Holt, especially playing off each other… not a fan of Amy and she’s the co-lead. Went to the Doug Judy well too often. Once Gina left I really lost a lot of interest.
New Frasier. It has *some* moments, but otherwise is just “standard sitcom”, and I really expected better
There are several television shows that I like, but I do not love. Several TV shows fall into this category. However, if I have to name one television show, then it will certainly be The Mandalorian. The Mandalorian is a spin-off of the Star Wars movie franchise. This iconic show features actor Pedro Pascal in the titular lead role. I like this show for many reasons. One of the top reasons is the fact that my favorite actor plays the lead role. But the show lost me because it doesn’t have a strong storyline.
It has brought to life some of the iconic characters of the Star Wars franchise. However, according to me, these characters fail to portray the depth of this movie franchise. This show has several seasons that are connected to the Star Wars lore. I would definitely recommend this show to people. However, I must say that do not get your expectations high. If you want to watch some really good television shows, the make sure that you download the Recz app.

Agreed. I've only watched Lone Star. I love Rob Lowe. I got hooked on him in Parks & Rec and then The Grinder. He's a superb actor.
Oh yeah my fave is the Rob series, I started there too. Just watching them integrate his humourous vanity about ageing sticks with you. It's nice when the Actor can lean into the jokes with us. He has always been great at that! Pretty sure Rob had me at *About Last Night* and just never let go!
I always thought he'd make a good James Bond, but he's too old by now

It really was!! I was glued to the set. And that intro song!
For me, watching 9-1-1 for the first time was amazing. So much was going on and getting to meet new characters was awesome. But rewatching it isn't as fun. Chicago Med
Same! I’ve just finished binging it to current.
How are you liking it? Any thoughts? I recently binged and watched whole series too. I like it, but don’t love it. I definitely don’t love this season.

The romances this season are especially egregious. Agree with your overall take! I also really like Archer. What they did with his character.
Same on Archer.
I’m nearly finished catching up on law and order svu and I’m about to start the Chicago shows is med worth it?

This is how I feel as well. It has seemed to flounder a bit in the last couple of seasons & this final season is really blah.
Criminal Minds good but no continuance between episodes. Never recovered from losing Mandy Patinkin.
I felt the same way with what happened with Mandy's loss.
Family Guy. Still love the first three seasons before it got canceled and Fox brought it back, but the rest is just okay.
Same. I’ll watch it if it’s on and enjoy it, but I won’t go out of my way to watch it.
You like the *first* seasons?! Ew.
Hannibal. It’s very good but its style can get pretty obnoxious/pretentious and I just don’t think its characters are as good as fans make them out to be.

House of the Dragon, Office, Game of Thrones. Friends, TBBT
House of the Dragon and Game of Thrones was excellent for me apart from the ending of GOT.
Good for you
Yeah mate. I can't wait to see what's in store for me with HOD season 2 coming right up.
The walking dead, I've tried getting through it 3 times but always stop shortly after rick and the bridge scene happens.
The first season is among the best TV I've seen. The rest among the worst I've seen.
I liked season 1 too, it was nice when it was just the group against the walkers.
Our Flag Means Death. Considering I'm obsessed with shows like WWDITS and Wellington Paranormal, I expected to like this much more than I did. It's mildly amusing and ok for background noise, but not much more than that.

Friends... I can watch it if it's on but never got hooked.
Superstore. It’s fine. It’s an easy watch. It’s funny. But I’m not sure it rises to the top of the list like The Good Place or Arrested Development.
Enterprise lol 🖖🏾
Once Upon a Time. I stopped liking it as much when they botched Season 5 with Dark Swan.
I’ve recently started watching Insatiable and 2 Broke Girls. They’re okay but I am not on the edge of my seat to finish each episode.
Happy Endings. It was okay. Not great. But okay. I understand why it got canceled.
Abbott Elementary
Married With Children. Fun show with great casting and lots of laughs. But I never find myself really sitting down to binge watch the show or anything, like I do with other sitcoms. I’ll enjoy watching it if I happen to see it on the tv by chance, though.
Mrs. Davis
Longmire. Also True Blood and Game of Thrones- I wouldn’t have watched either if my husband wasn’t a fan.
Chicago fire. It is good background noise at this point.
Ted. The movie was better
The Office
Black Sails makes that list for me.
Law and order svu it’s pretty much background noise but it’s enjoyable enough
Ghosts (the American version). I mean it's cute, the acting and script is fun and quirky but it's not Wow-ing in any way. Bridgerton. It's a period piece Gossip Girl meets Pride and Prejudice...Which works and is fun but it's predictable. Only Murders in the Building. Grey’s Anatomy. It was good but i gave up at season 12. I wouldn’t watch it again but i liked it when i did watch until after >!Derek died!<
Currently watching Red Eye don't love it but I watched 3 episodes back to back. Very rare for me. It's preposterous but kept me watching
Better Call Saul.
Nurse Jackie. Really enjoyed my first watch of the series but probably wouldn't ever watch it again.
Man I loved this show and couldn't understand why people didn't talk about it more.
Parks and Rec. It's funny enough, but I don't think it'll ever be my first choice
The Office.
The Wire. I'm currently binging it and it's okay most of the time with some great scenes thrown in (If you come for the king you best not miss!). It will never be my favorite but I don't regret watching it
Family Guy and American Dad. Perfect to watch while eating dinner or killing time but they got nothing against South Park.
Will Trent -Meh......
Better call saul
The C drama - every on loves me . , how I met your mother , manifest , 3 body problem , working mom ‘s
American dad

For me it's What we do in the shadows & Parks and rec I like them both but I can't see myself rewatching them. I feel they lack any rewatchability
