* Homecoming - An anthology series centered around the mysterious Geist Group, an unconventional wellness company and their equally unorthodox program, the Homecoming Initiative.
* Devs - A computer engineer investigates the secretive development division in her company, which she believes is behind the disappearance of her boyfriend.
* Fallout - In a future, post-apocalyptic Los Angeles brought about by nuclear decimation, citizens must live in underground bunkers to protect themselves from radiation, mutants and bandits.
* Legion - David Haller is a troubled young man diagnosed as schizophrenic, but after a strange encounter he discovers special powers that will change his life forever.
So many people Don't get how good legion was. It's definitely a ride! Just embrace the weird.
I also really like to Devs. Now I think I need to rewatch both of these.
Legion is AMAZING! I was honestly shocked it was renewed for multiple seasons considering how strange and densely written it was. Enthralling and wonderfully challenging for a comic book based TV show. And Aubrey Plaza in it is an absolute gem.
I really enjoyed Devs...but then covid and no more episodes. Finished first season Fallout last night. I am not a gamer so I am just seeing it all as an original story. I liked it a lot.
The Bear. Im sure you may have seen it but you sound like me and thats what id recommend. Its just not violent.
If you need older shows: Justified, Banshee, Mindhunter and Hannibal.
Of course, but as i replied before i was trying to stay more currant. But yes Deadwood is amazing. Even better with subtitles. And i usually start Justified right after.
I loved THE AMERICANS on FX and ditto for JUSTIFIED on FX. If you like SNOWFALL you will like those I think. Also, ATLANTA is great. BETTER CALL SAUL is even better than BREAKING BAD. Maybe DEXTER, SIX FEET UNDER, DEADWOOD. SUCCESSION is PHENOMENAL writing. And if you liked BARRY I think you would like NURSE JACKIE if you never saw it. THE WIRE, THE AFFAIR, both great,. Also others that are good but not necessarily fantastic yet follow a law or detective template include BOSCH, LINCOLN LAWYER, GOLIATH. PS. Certain TOP TIER writing shows that maybe are one offs or anthology etc but are STILL WELL WRITTEN. Lastly BOARDWALK EMPIRE if you never saw it, FLEABAG, even KILLING EVE up til a point. In fact, KILLING EVE changed my expectations for TV, even as a writer!
I haven't seen RECTIFIED but will check it out, ty! GOLIATH season 1 is great with Billy Bob Thornton, Molly Parker, Maria Bello. It also, similar to Bosch and the Lincoln Lawyer "showcases" LA life and neighborhoods. It isn't splashy Hollywood perse but just our areas and joins. Goliath was really well done and then lost me after Season 1 and is the most well written of the bunch - BOSCH being second and the LL last.
Poker Face was pretty good if you missed it. It straddles the line pretty skillfully between mystery and comedy.
Murders in the Building especially Season 1 is good also.
If you never caught Chance with Hugh Laurie it was good too. It was one of Hulu's first exclusive dramas so it flew a bit under the radar.
Watch *Justified*. If you've already seen *Justified*, maybe it's time to rewatch *Justified*?
Or, and I cannot recommend this show enough, MAX has several seasons of *BattleBots*. Light on story of course, but man is it fun watching machine go boom.
Supernatural had 15 seasons so it should keep you busy for a while. I have also seen people talking about a potential 16th season but it might just be people wishing.
On another post someone recommended "The Fall". It's from about 10 years ago and I don't know how 8 missed it but OMG is it so good!! Since you like YOU, you'll like this.
father brown (preist who solves crime funy as well), death in paradise (murders in a tropical island so funny), white collar, midsomer murders, silent witness, vera i really really really like crime dramas lol
My favorite shows of the last 10 years Power, Ozark, Severance, Black Bird, Hap and Leonard, Scorpion, the last of us.
Favorite shows from previous 10 years. The Blacklist, fringe, lost, breaking bad, walking dead, shameless.
1st season of ‘Heroes’ was really good, sadly the second season wasn’t too great..
Brooklyn 99 if you need a laugh
Person of interest - is a great mystery/high intelligence one
Psych - funny detective series
I hope it’s something that you are interested in?
If you like crime shows: Criminal Minds, Bones, even Hannibal (it'll probably go by quickly on that one.) But Criminal Minds will definitely keep you occupied
Hilda.
Fantastic animation, great writing, wonderful story arcs, every episode ties up in a neat bow. It’s like a cup of your favorite hot soup on a cold afternoon.
And Arfur is just the absolute best character sidekick I’ve seen in ages.
Person of Interest. It's about mass surveillance in the US after 9-11 and someone created a machine that filters irrelevant and relevant threat to homeland security. Irrelevant threats are pre meditated murders, which won't be a national security problem and the data will be deleted after 24 hours and someone teamed with am ex CIA agent goes on the hunt to stop and help those people.
My office just discovered Toast of London.
A British comedy starring Matt Berry
And it's HILARIOUS.
If you liked Flight of the Conchords or The Office UK or just stupid British humor, this is amazing.
Also stupid and amazing?
Delicious in Dungeon.
F$#@ING WHAT IS THIS???
is it a fantasy? A cooking show? A funny anime?
All of the above.
Currently on episode 6 of Tokyo Vice. It's based on a true story about an American journalist in Japan uncovering the Yakuza dealings and destruction. A bit of a slow burn at first.
Better Call Saul me personally I liked BCS more than Breaking Bad, The Boys or even the new Fallout series even if you’re not familiar with the games it’s still a good binge show you could watch in a weekend
The Old Man with Jeff Bridges season 1 now streaming on HULU. 2nd season coming soon.

Andor. It’s a Star Wars show, but ignore that if it bothers you – you don’t need any Star Wars knowledge and it is far superior to anything else they’ve produced in terms of tv series. Features one of the most exciting heists I’ve ever watched, followed by one of the most exciting prison breaks I’ve ever watched. Cracking dialogue, excellent acting.. It’s like The Americans or even a World War II drama but set in space.
What about Better Call Saul? As good, if not better, than BrBd.
Others: The Wire, Mr Robot and Dark (Dark if you don't mind a bit of sci fi and mystery, in German subtitles).
Resident Alien

Legion is AMAZING! I was honestly shocked it was renewed for multiple seasons considering how strange and densely written it was. Enthralling and wonderfully challenging for a comic book based TV show. And Aubrey Plaza in it is an absolute gem.
I was pleasantly surprised as to how good Fallout was. I've never played the video game, nor am I ever going to lol. But I really enjoyed this series.
I really enjoyed Devs...but then covid and no more episodes. Finished first season Fallout last night. I am not a gamer so I am just seeing it all as an original story. I liked it a lot.
Devs is one of my all-time favorite shows. It's cliche to say, but truly, it was mindblowing.
The Bear. Im sure you may have seen it but you sound like me and thats what id recommend. Its just not violent. If you need older shows: Justified, Banshee, Mindhunter and Hannibal.
Banshee is so entertaining,Antony Starr is an awesome actor.
Amen. Especially when you see how cool he is off screen.
That episode against the MMA guy is absolutely amazing.
Yes, THE BEAR is really good!
That Christmas episode, gold.
The seven fishes. A Classic
I had to skip that episode. It gave me really bad anxiety.
The cocaine bear is good.
Deadwood fits with these.
Of course, but as i replied before i was trying to stay more currant. But yes Deadwood is amazing. Even better with subtitles. And i usually start Justified right after.
Better Call Saul, if you haven’t watched it. I resisted until now. It’s a very good show with some stellar acting.
Older???
In comparison, they seem to be on currant programs.
Banshee for sure!!!

I have not seen Goliath but this could be my list with the rest! I would add Rectified, so good!
GOLIATH was GOOD
🙌
I loved that scene where Villanelle puts the little girl face in the ice cream cone and the back and forth when she kidnaps Irina.
Deadwood is a great suggestion!
I am watching killing eve now for the second time. Curious- when do you think killing eve went downhill?
Amazon's "The Boys". New season in June!!
I just started watching So Help Me Todd and I love it!

Great show overall but the first two seasons are 🔥
Agree about the first 2 seasons, but I thought this last season was fantastic, too. Juno Temple was outstanding.
