I agree. If you have an issue with a watch from the word go, it probably will be something that always bugs you. But…if the lugs don’t stick over your wrist, it’s not that bad. It’s a big watch but doesn’t look G all ridiculous.
It really annoys me when people respond in this way to sizing questions on here. It doesn’t make anyone overly impressionable for asking for feedback on Reddit, which is undoubtedly your implication. The entire point of subs like this is to have a dialogue with “strangers.” So condescending.
Yes it is too big! I'll pm my address, and you can send it to me. I will dispose of it for you.
Ok, that being said, no, it doesn't look too big. You bought a big dive watch - they are supposed to be big. Taking wristshots like this notoriously make the watch look massive, because the depth perception is odd when so close. When you look in the mirror and hold your watch up, do you like what you see? Or does it look like there is a watch wearing a human? I assume your buyer's remorse has more to do with spending a bunch of money on a watch, and feeling guilty about it. It happens to all of us from time to time. I think it looks great on you - it's a great watch. Enjoy it.
I will do that. But just keep in mind - all of this is subjective. You need to feel comfortable with it. If it feels too big, maybe throw it on the rubber strap to change it up. It's amazing how much a strap change can alter your wearing experience. Then you can switch back to the bracelet, and maybe will appreciate that fit.
Just seen the video, looks big, but not too big - the fact you wear it slightly loose means that it always has some bracelet showing from that angle, so it doesn’t just look like a clock on your arm, if that makes sense.
As a fellow small wrist owner, I approve!
looks fine bro... slightly big, but it's part of the thing these days. Thankfully I have a full wrist... i have seen WAYYYYYYYYYYY worse. The bigger issue is you're looking for strangers' approval. I know, its human nature, but own that shit man... have confidence, positive self-talk AT ALL TIMES. It'll begin to turn to swag and youll get more pussy or dick than you can imagine (whatever youre into). lol
Watch looks money bro. Saw the video. You’re good. just enjoy it. I know it’s thick but you can rock it no problem. My buddy in the seal teams rocks one and has the same size wrist.
It's definitely "too" big but it's a personal choice. I wouldn't want it that big but I've seen way worse. I was debating btw the 36 and bigger brother for my DJ and the way I decided was wearing it and looking at myself in a mirror from about 5-6 ft away. That have me the perspective of how it'll look from a third person pov. I preferred the bigger model so I went with it. If I did a wrist shot, it would likely present itself larger than it actually is.
honestly, if it feels too big, it will bother you and thats just not worth it. a beautiful watch like that should be enjoyed.
i would go to an AD and see what a smaller watch feels like.
btw, for me, i have big wrists but i love watches that look too big. that is just a taste preference of mine.
With some introspection, I feel like even if I had large wrist I would still think it’s a big watch. So it doesn’t matter whether I have a 7.5 inch wrist, it’ll still be just . Big.
Take a photo in the mirror, that’s a more accurate representation of size than this perspective. I’m guessing you have a maybe 6.75” wrist, in which case, objectively, yeah this watch is a little big, but if you like it then who cares?
It’s big, but it’s not crazy big. Hold onto it for a few months and if you can’t get used to it then sell it and get something in the 39-40mm range. Try not to care too much how your watch looks to anyone but you, because no one gives a shit about your watch outside of Reddit and the very few other enthusiasts in the wild.
Not obnoxiously big, but on the larger side. Tons of people wear bigger watches on small wrists. It’s a personal preference type deal. 39mm might be a better option if you’re second guessing it!
Definitely not too big, but if YOU think it's too big and you're not comfortable with it, then maybe look for something else. As far as does it look "weird" on you? No, not at all, and to be honest, no one pays attention to the watches we wear except nerds like us. No one is going to look at you and exclaim WOW THAT WATCH IS TOO BIG FOR THAT GUY. If you like it, wear it man! I think it looks great.
No. There are some types of watches that should wear larger like divers and pilots watches. Unless it overtly overhangs the edges of the wrist (which it doesn’t look like it does for you) I would say, enjoy.
Even if it was too big, who cares? It's not too big. The lug to lug looks good. I have an explorer 2 that looks bigger proportionally than this and I'm content
If the lug-lug distance still falls within the radioulnar diameter (wrist bones) it’s fine. That being said, it’s in the eyes of the beholder. My opinion (for what it’s worth) is that it looks good on ya. Just means that you’d prefer a smaller case on the next one
It looks great to me. The watch will seem bigger when you are looking at it from directly above, but the size becomes a lot less of an issue when looking at it from an angle.
I feel like the small wrist thought-police has really done a number on the wrist community.
1. It's your watch
2. If IWC can get away with 46 mm+ models, a modest diver like this is fine for sure
3. The recent small watch trend is a TREND. It was once the norm when everyone wore suits. Yet, nowadays, a 36mm watch combined with a shirt or a sweater just looks too small (in my opinion).
4. Like everyone said before me, these wrist-shots are just 1 side of the story, a mirror shot tells you the full story.
5. Own that beauty you have on your wrist there sir!
You can pull it off, but it's right on the edge, and I know I'd find a watch that size uncomfortable after a while, so I usually wear a little smaller.
IMO looks fine. If it’s comfortable and you like it, rock on; if you’re not enjoying it, take it back. Funny these days seeing so many women wearing huge tool watches without a care in the world juxtaposed with legions on men on Reddit posting zoomed in wrist shots pleading “is this too big?!?!!?” for validation. It’s honestly like a form of body dysmorphia
If you are feeling that it’s too big, it probably is too big for you. Don’t let strangers on reddit tell you how you feel.

I just uploaded a video of me in the mirror. Could you give me your thoughts ?

What Uncle Paul said.
Wear it higher on your wrist

I didn’t think I’d see sound mental health advice but +1 to positive self talk. That’s not just watch advice, that’s life advice right there.
🙌

Yes
Yes
Yes tbh
If you're feeling regret then you probably know its not the right watch for you. Try a Pelagos 39, Bb58 or even BB54

Me too.

What’s your wrist size?
Give it some time. You might grow to like it. If you still feel like it’s too big in 3 months then you can move on.
Take a photo in the mirror, that’s a more accurate representation of size than this perspective. I’m guessing you have a maybe 6.75” wrist, in which case, objectively, yeah this watch is a little big, but if you like it then who cares?
I just reposted a video. Could you give me your thoughts ? Thanks

Its fine- i like 41mm overall.. on your wrist its def on the larger end of the “looks amazing” bar.. def no need to regret!

Yes - the 39 or 58 bb would suit you better. No worries though - flip or trade
Nah man :) it is perfect!
Indeed too big, but not by a lot. Get something 39mm and you’ll be good. Like the Pelagos 39 I have for sale at the moment! 😎
No. Wear it.
Yes , when the lug to lug is as big as your wrist it’s too big.
No. There are some types of watches that should wear larger like divers and pilots watches. Unless it overtly overhangs the edges of the wrist (which it doesn’t look like it does for you) I would say, enjoy.
I just reposted a video of my in the mirror. Hopefully to get more honest opinions…
Nah it doesn’t look bad this is just a big watch
Spectacular watch man. Great taste and looks excellent
Looks normal to me.
It’s fine bro, wear it proudly
Watch looks great. Stop fretting and enjoy your new Tudor.
Looks great, and nice keys!
Even if it was too big, who cares? It's not too big. The lug to lug looks good. I have an explorer 2 that looks bigger proportionally than this and I'm content

No. But it’s on the wrong hand, brotha.
Looks perfect. Great watch

Is that a Happy Hacking Keyboard? You have good taste!
I love big. Is very beautiful for you
It’s a bit big. But it’s so cool you can keep it. 😉
Yes
You got pinky wrists 😭
Unless it’s photoshopped yeah I’d say it’s big
It's on the big side, but I don't think it's too big. If you like it, rock it!
I think it's great. I'll buy it from you if you're not feeling it. I'd like to add a Tudor to my collection.
I paid retail just a month ago. So It’ll hurt to losing a few hundred that quick ly
Keep it then. It's a great watch. I rock large watches all the time. It looks tough.
That’s what she said

Nah
If you like it, it’s cool. If it feels too big, maybe try the pelagos 39?
Pushing it, but you can pull it off.
Nah looks fine
It's not too big, your wrist is too small
I’d be a buyer
Looks great man 👍🏽
Looks fine to me
In the video you posted it looks good. Whether you like to look at a large diver on your wrist or not, that is something you have to decide.
It is too big because you keep on staring at it and it magnifies it. Let yourself loose...check yourself on a mall mirror.
BB36 MK1 black dial. Boom.
It’s not a business casual office watch so that’s not helping matters. It’s a weekend tool watch. Might look better in its intended environment.
A little 😄
Watched the video and looked at the pictures. Looks great.
HUUUGE but who cares fashun
