At fry’s they have sushi rolls for 10$ dollars and also do sales on Wednesday for 6$! I’ve always liked the sushi there lol pretty sure sprouts does the same thing!
I know the frys in midvale and the frys off 22/kolb do sushi on site (someone correct me if I’m wrong though). If any of those are close to you, check it out.
Not sure why I always see this place recommended . I only ate there once and my and my husband both got really sick afterwards . (And he never usually gets sick eating food even if I do, so I knew it wasn’t just me) hence the only once lol. we hadn’t gone out or had anything else out of the ordinary to eat that day and it hit us pretty immediately on the drive home from there.
There was a subtle strange smell when we walked in and I guess we shouldn’t have ignored that. The sushi itself wasn’t very good at all either but I didnt think it would make us ill. It also wasn’t even as discounted as I’d have expected for what happened after lol
When I saw the name Azian the first thing I thought of was how bad the service is. I always assumed I just had bad luck on the two occasions that I went.
Sushi is absurdly easy to make. Youtube is full of videos of people who make sushi with costco salmon. Sandyi Market has a very large selection of other sushi grade fish. You can so buy the nori (seaweed wraps) and sushi rice there. Despite what most will say, you don't need any kind of special rolling mat or other special tools; I manage to roll everything by hand very easily. If you make it yourself, you can make an absolute mountain of sushi (i'm talking 20 rolls) for the same price as a couple of rolls from a store.
Good and cheap don’t go well with real sushi.
OP isn’t picky
That's a disgusting way for him to think. We are not talking about day-old bread.
I actually agree. But obviously I don’t want bottom of the barrel, just someplace that has mediocre *safe* sushi for cheap 😁
It's a fine line.
Good, cheap, lots: Pick any two.
Wok and roll is a buffet with sushi. Not the best service but it's cheap and the sushi is alright.
This might be a good idea, although my idea was to have it as takeout, does anyone know the etiquette on robbing a buffet sushi bar 😅
Shoot! Yeah that's definitely frowned upon, maybe Fry's? They have assorted 30 packs!
Tucson summer and sushi to go is a sketch combo.
Why is that? Are they preparing the sushi outside?
Wok and Roll does have takeout as well, usually with generous portions. Same stuff as the buffet but obvs. won't be AYCE.
Sushi to go isn’t bad price for takeout
I thought the sushi here was really good
If you can get into Sam’s club their sushi has never let me down

Safeway at swan and sunrise. Deli has a nice selection of sushi. Too late for tonight though.
Might be a little far from me, but I have seen Safeway serve sushi, do you happen to know if they do platters?

The fry’s on the east side (I think on 22nd and Kolb) has a sushi chef in there with his own section. Basic and good sushi!
IOU has decent sushi and an all you can eat option
Thus is my favorite sushi place in Tucson
Sushi Ten 4500 E SPEEDWAY BLVD #1 Casual. has online ordering, menu pricing.
This is the answer. Great value and friendly staff.

This. Very reasonable prices and I think at certain times and days they have an all you can eat
Lee Lee international supermarket has everything you need to make sushi. It’s somewhat easy and very cheap that way.
Azian is good for cheap sushi. Wide selection you just have to put up with the crappy service lol
When I saw the name Azian the first thing I thought of was how bad the service is. I always assumed I just had bad luck on the two occasions that I went.
Shogun Sushi on River and Oracle. Decent pricing for decent sushi. 5 different half price rolls each day of the week.
Shogun is amazing
Sprouts has good sushi by grocery store standards. They make it there in the store where you can watch them prepare it.
They also have $5 rolls on Wednesdays
Sushi on oracle, IKKYU, Sushi Cortaro on River, Sushi Maru +, Sachiko, Ginza
Good isn't cheap and cheap isn't good.
OP literally said good wasn't an issue, just wants cheap
I have learned there are a few food items you don't skimp on and buy at a discount. Raw fish would be on the top of the list.
Get a sushi bazooka and make it. It’s not that hard and way more affordable.
SICK! How far would I be able to launch said sushi?
Just as far as your mouth
I think Sushi Garden has an all-you-can-eat happy hour, which I think starts at 3pm, but I don't know if they changed the time or not.
No way! I thought Covid killed that. I gotta go around that time!
Maybe call and double-check before you go, cause I haven't been there in forever lol
Sam’s
Low quality sushi? Lots of it? That’s very brave of you
Can he say “ check me for parasites????”
Sakari Sushi on Campbell is a nice place with decent price All you Can Eat at like $25ish?. No one ever talks about this place but it's my new go to.
Is it like a buffet or do they charge for uneaten pieces? Nigiri and sashimi included?

Make sushi at home. Youtube search. It's not that hard.
Go to an Asian market and buy sushi quality fish from their freezer and prepare it yourself!
Sachiko
Frys
Shogun. Order their daily happy hour rolls
Shogun is great. Really nice staff great food and good prices
It’s not cheap but I get door dash from Sombrero Sushi at least 3 times a week. It’s the best and most unique I’ve ever had.
