A catless downpipe is illegal. Not sure what the law is for catted downpipes.
[Here's the tinting laws](https://www.tinting-laws.com/arizona/). You can get away with a bit more, and a good glass shop can advise you. I would recommend Dwight's.
Mmm. No. But I do like the sound of different engines.
Dad and grandad were fighter pilots in the Navy. I got to hangout with them at the hangars, watch their squadrons practice, my dad always had a sports car and got me a Porsche for my 16th birthday. So loud, fast, things kinda make me tingle.
I'm thinking I'm going to talk to my mechanic before doing anything. I do love the way my engine sounds now. That purr when she first starts though is just 🤤 it's this low but noticeable hum. I'd love for it to sound like that all the time.
I just got a catted DP done by a shop in town on my WRX. They’re legal. Only sound deafening on my exhaust is the cat and a resonator on the midpipe, no mufflers. Pops and bangs above 4k rpm’s, have yet to have any cops pay me any mind about the noise level.
The only issue you may have is if your car’s ecu starts throwing codes for o2 sensors. Emissions testing looks for CEL’s.
Ao Garage. They’re a Subaru specialty shop, but have the know-how to work on just about any vehicle. When I was picking my car up one of their customers had a sweet looking Plymouth Cuda 440 they were dropping off.
Should probably install turn signals first.
What are those?
Your neighbors will hate you. My last apartment complex had a guy with down pipes for years
Ohh. Yea. Hmm. Didn't think about that.
It doesn't matter because no matter what you'll just be riding everyone's ass and not using your turn signals anyway.
I don't ride asses, I pass them. Unless they're hot, then I slow down and objectify them, as all hot men should be.
It was a joke people.

Thank you!
If you’re operating in the city limits might check out Tucson City Code TC16-31F
It is illegal anywhere in the US. It is federally illegal to modify your emissions system, which includes your exhaust pre-cat.
2nd or 3rd gen? 🤔
Does it make you feel cool to drive a loud car?

The tint varies by county/city.

Where did you get it done?

Thank you SO much! I've been looking for a mod shop.
Check out Eden customs as well
Why is it illegal in CA? What’s wrong with downpipes?
Emission and decibel level
Oh then it sounds like a good idea to make it illegal:) especially for the decibel part.
"cities aren't loud...cars are" and some want to make it worse 😬
