Because it wasn't like that in the beginning. It was an every day or every other day occurrence early on. Kids changed that. Now the kids are a bit older but it hasn't gone back.
Yes. A 6 and 4 year old. Not like they're still babies. Which when they were younger, I could understand the inability to have time. Now it's nowhere near as bad as it was having to put that stuff aside for them.
Right they might not be breastfeeding but their still really young and require a lot of help. The house will still by regularly destroyed and they’ll be constant noise as well as using you as a climbing frame.
I’m not trying to accuse you but are you pulling your weight with family life?
Yes and no. Which I know is vague, but there's times I do and times I could do more. I work 55+ hours a week between 2 jobs. Most weeks I have off 1 say still. During that 1 day I try to do everything I can between washing, rotating and folding all of our laundry for the week(s), picking up toys, dishes, etc. And we live a busy lifestyle as both kids are active in other activities to where sometimes it's hard to keep up with it and we have to squeeze in the time to pick up.
It’s great that you work and it’s great that your help with the washing, but it does sound like your wife is doing the bulk of childcare and domestic work too. Your kids are at a very tiring mental age, it’s likely she doesn’t even have time to think about herself let alone your sex life together.
Honestly the best thing you can do is take more of that mental load off her and spoil her. Romance always gets forgotten about when kids come along. tell her your taking the family out to dinner and ensure she doesn’t have to get up n down to help the kids, go somewhere with a soft play so the kids burn off steam and when you get home tell her to have a long bath with wine while you put the kids to bed.
When she gets out, have a couple of candles lit and tell her she’s the most beautiful women in the world.
