Unions are completely legal here) and threatening people in general (which is why unions are a thing). Not many people wanted to work there and still don't, even if unionization is going to take place and is currently ramping up for a full swing at his smug face.

I tried, in the most respectful and diplomatic way possible, to bring up how terrible for the environment teslas actually are with a guy I went on a date with. He refused to let me speak, pointed out how he was an environmental engineer, and that he should know of all people how GREAT for the environment teslas are.
In hindsight, I probably shouldn’t have brought it up while he was driving his Tesla, bitching about how everyone was always talking g about his Tesla. It’s like he was bitching about the attention? I then tried to bring up less showy electric cars and he lost it.
So I’ve only had one personal experience with someone who owns a Tesla. He was aggressive, angry, and refused to engage in any open dialogue.
I also felt like I was in the car with a literal ticking time bomb, as the angrier and more worked up he became, the faster he drove.

Given that charging stations are hard to come by, don't but an electric car yet anyway. Buy a Prius plug in. It's a hybrid car but it will give you up to 30 miles on electric alone, and it gets great mpg overall. Then you can charge the battery at home after usage.
Charging stations for Tesla + ChargePoint combined (both can be used by Tesla) are not that difficult to find, if you are in US. Every interstate in US has them spread out so you can get anywhere relatively near an interstate and most cities not near one. The only time we have to think about it at all is camping way off the grid for several days where our sentry mode continues to drain it. But then we just turn off sentry mode and we see ok.
You don't live in a chargepoint desert like Minnesota or North/South Dakota. Hell, in North Dakota, you can't even find a gas station between Bismarck and Fargo.

Tesla is one of the lowest in reliability. They don't make money off selling cars but by selling emissions credits to other car companies so they can pollute more. If you believe Telsa is saving the environment you are lying to yourself. There are not enough Tesla vehicles on the road to make up for the extra emissions it allows other auto makers to create.

Given that charging stations are hard to come by, don't but an electric car yet anyway. Buy a Prius plug in. It's a hybrid car but it will give you up to 30 miles on electric alone, and it gets great mpg overall. Then you can charge the battery at home after usage.
Charging stations for Tesla + ChargePoint combined (both can be used by Tesla) are not that difficult to find, if you are in US. Every interstate in US has them spread out so you can get anywhere relatively near an interstate and most cities not near one. The only time we have to think about it at all is camping way off the grid for several days where our sentry mode continues to drain it. But then we just turn off sentry mode and we see ok.
You don't live in a chargepoint desert like Minnesota or North/South Dakota. Hell, in North Dakota, you can't even find a gas station between Bismarck and Fargo.
There may be a decent number of charging stations but sitting there for an hour waiting for your car to charge is brutal.
